Official NFL 2012-2013 Thread

Miller was by far the second best on the team, thats not even including players from ATL...

Who talks trash down 20 points after he just got burned for a 50 yard bomb?

Feel bad for wilson though...he seems like a good guy and pretty damn good QB

I am a Russell Wilson fan but how can you call him "The Man" if the offense was terrible in the first half and was what screwed them

They weren't terrible. They got to the redone twice- almost three times if marshawn hadn't fumbled but we botched our opportunities. Should have kicked field goals and none of the missed chances were RWs fault.

ass one of the youngest teams in football anyone else think seahawks are going to be the team to beat next season? and how about those uniforms fretty fricken sick

I doubt that. But for all of you who think he is an asshole you would think differently if you lived in the Seattle area. They mic him up all week and play the audio on seahawks Saturday nights and he's actually really funny and nice. If you listened to his mic'd up after game convo with rgiii and shit. He talks a lot of encouragement too not just trash. He's just a talker, that's all. I think its fun. Trash talkers who are easy to hate have bad attitudes. Sherman has a good attitude and os always laughing and smiling. Players Like TO

I happen to like a lot of seattle players big name players like wilson and lynch and think they have a pretty kick ass defense...but you are fucking high if you agree with that retard that thinks they are gonna be the team to beat next year. They couldnt get out of the divisional playoffs and lost to a team that is going to get spanked next week by the 9ers

Yeah I saw what he said to rg3, it was cool of him but that doesn't just cancel out all the shit talking he does, he's just a punk that's all. And obviously he isn't going to talk shit to his own team on the bench.

A good player, but a punk.

I disagree. I think the Seahawks are a young team that are just getting started. I think they'll have a hell of a season next year if no one gets injured. Your argument that they lost to the Falcons isn't that great of one because you're not saying anything concrete or specific. Broncos lost to the Ravens and they were supposedly the favorites for winning the SB.

There were a lot of missed opportunities in that game. If you think the Seahawks lost that game because they just simply aren't as good as the Falcons then we have a difference of opinion. What I saw was that the Falcons were on their A game, and the Seahawks did not play to the best of their ability and didn't capitalize on all of their opportunities.

Again- we probably just have differing opinions, but as others have said, Seattle is a young team, it is the first year for our franchise QB and several of our other stars-- give them some time to get seasoned together.

I wasn't talking about his own team on the bench, they have all of his sound clips from all of his "trash talking" and wasn't it Williams to said he wanted to "punch sherman in the face." Sherman just said go right ahead and he did!

At least Sherman isn't violent. BTW the NFL fined Williams 8k for that move. What is all this trash talking that everyone is referring to-- just the Tom Brady thing? I never hear specifics, just "talks a shit ton of trash." I watch everything like everyone else and all I can think of is Brady, Williams...?

I just realized how much of a joke the Houston texans really are. Yea they look good on paper got some of the best players in the league but when they don't play other shit teams they are a total joke. Also these fucking refs suck dick

no. I didn't say that. I don't know, do you? I'm only saying two things in my post:

1.) Williams punched sherman in the face unprovoked in the moment. Maybe it was something that Sherman said during the actual game, but at the time he got punched, sherman hadn't said shit to him, he said "helluva game boy, way to work out there" to another redskins player and the next thing you know williams is like "i want to punch you in your face." Do you or anyone else know what Sherman did to make him do that?

skip to 48 seconds:

and

2.) I'm not saying there aren't a bunch of other examples, im just trying to figure out where people are coming from- are you talking about brady/williams, or were there other big examples of exchanges?

my question is: what shit talking is it that everyone is talking about other than the Brady incident?

I understand the Brady thing as a documented time where Sherman talked shit and i could see how people would not like him because of it. However, it seems as though after that everyone was like "sherman is such a fucking piece of shit shit-talker." I'm wondering if there are like 4-5 more of these incidences that I missed, or if it's just conjecture.

Just getting started in terms of success....some rookies will never have as good of a year as they did their first-- I'm saying the opposite for these rookies. But I think you knew that and were just trying to be smart.

I think the hawks will be good enough for at least a game at home next year if not a couple which will probably make them one of the favorites.

It's just a known fact he's a shit talker, he even admitted it.

"I'm not rude or anything off the field, but on the field I'm a dog."

Are you trying to play lawyer and get this erased on technicality because there isn't anything documented of him shit talking?

no. I didn't realize you were referring to on-the-field. I consider anything said on the field part of the game.

People kept saying he was a piece of shit-- like he was an asshole or something. There's nothing mean about getting into your opponents head on the field.

I just disagree, I don't think it makes him a less classy athlete. Shit talking with a bad attitude and being mean spirited maybe, but Sherman does it in jest and just taunts to get into his opponents head. I think he's smart. I mean he does have a masters in communications, right?

We'll just agree to disagree.

You clearly dislike sherman for some pretty biased reasons. no one in the nfl can deny his skill, second in the league in interceptions. kindly stop this silly argument, youre way off base and i for one could give two shits whether you like him or not cuz he is gona go ham on any wideout easily.

I don't get this. Butt hurt is being negative and pissed off...you are the ones being negative and talking shit. We're just defending him.

Yes, I think he's a quality human being, and yes I think he is smart. Athlete or not, I don't think you get a degree and a masters degree from Stanford if you're a know-nothing, low-life, hood rat, piece of shit punk (all things said about him in this thread).

Why did you even enter this, I thought it was finally over...

you're definitely right lol

Thats a shitty loss for an up and coming seattle team but you can at least take comfort in the fact that they will be a force in the NFC for a few years to come
