Official NFL 2012-2013 Thread

and i take the seahawks. niners are coming off this huge emotional and important win and had to travel back across the country and that usually is tough to overcome. furthermore, seattle is playing really well at home and had two blowout wins over the last two weeks. this means a lot of rest for starters.

Broncos are overrated, they have a total of 1.5 good wins this season, get beat by other good teams, beat shitty teams. The being said the AFC sucks this year, actually the whole league kind of sucks this year so who knows what will happen.

Kind of a boring day today, the highlight might have been Jacoby Jones TD dance on what turned out to be an incomplete pass.

I'll take the 49ers tonight. Its so misleading when commentators talk about how crazy the Seattle fans and the 12th man bullshit when the noise factor is 100% the result of purposeful engineering.

If I was Alex Smith I would probably punch Harbaugh right in the face. So much bullshit.

Also: I'm about to win $100 for winning my 12 man fantasy

What you don't wanna do at this point, is be in Seattle and be on any social networking site at all. You will see more than a few people advocating

a. Seattle playing its first string team against area middle school teams, in order to prove their worthiness

b. bonuses for hits on defenseless recievers

c. mandatory Harbaugh mannequin fucking throughout Washington

not that there's anything wrong with that.

bahahahahah we'll see about that buddy, whoever your favorite team is must be sucking dick. broncos will make it to the end this year, mark my words..

seriously mark my fucking words..

PEYTON FUCKING MANNING

10 IN A ROW DRBRONCS

Overrated really? This whole "well this team is obviously better than this team cause they beat them" is none-sense. With that logic the Cardinals would be better than the Pats right? Cause the Cards did beat Tom Brady earlier this season, and that was with Gronk playing as well. The Broncos handled the Ravens last week and the Pats lost to them in the beginning of the season.
The only reason the Pats have a decent record is because they play all their games against contenders in New England (Denver, Houston, and San Francisco). While the Broncos had to play Atlanta on the road, Houston at home, and New England on the road. They also played those three games in the first five weeks of the season. This offense was brand new at the beginning of the season so it was obviously going to take some time before they gelled.
The Broncos defense has also been playing lights out since week 6. The scary thing about this unit though is that they are better than their Payton Manning led offense. Manning never had this good of a defense in Indy so that just tells you that they are a team to be taken seriously. They had a total of 7 sacks today while the Pats only had one against a team thats even worse than the Browns. Brady has also thrown 4 ints in the last two games so its apparent that their offense is struggling. And don't even get me started about the Pats defense. Chad Henne almost put up 400 yards on their secondary today, Chad freaking Henne for christ sakes. So if you think about it, Tebow's backup picked apart the Pats secondary today. Impressive.
And nice prediction on the Niners, its looking pretty good for you right now.

I did think the Seahawks had a good shot at pulling this one out at home, but I didn't see 28 first half points coming. Damn.

I also want to give some props to the Seahawks. Fucking shit, they are thunder punching the Niners in the dick right now. Id like to see a Broncos Seahawks Super Bowl, get the old AFC West rivalry going again.

id be afraid to play against this hawks dst. they are some mother fucking big hitters. this place is going absolutely nuts. thank god iv got a friend with season tickets.

yikes i thought the pats were gonna lose that one... they've been a little shaky lately.denver's my pick. peyton only really fails in postseason because of the colts shitty d but broncos are looking damn good this year.

The thing is - and I'm a Seahawks fan (from Vancouver) - they may be one of the best, right now with all this confidence probably THE best team at home, but they're pretty different on the road. So I'm approaching this postseason with very cautious optimism.

No matter what they do, I'm happy with how this season has gone. One of the best defenses in the NFL, a top 5 ground game thanks to Lynch and a rookie QB who now trails only Peyton Manning all time for rookie QB passes. The guy is just ridiculously composed.

I'm not even taking anything away from the Niners, they're not playing that badly, but it's just so difficult to win in that stadium. Can't hear anything in there.

This brings up a question they noted earlier - outside of the obvious favourites, who is the team everyone really DOESN'T want to play in the postseason?

As a Packers fan, today has just been

course. but im biased due to my love of the hawsks.

i saw the dst being exactly the way they are. didnt see wilson starting, or the offense really. knew lynch would get his tho.

bummed shreman possibly would miss every game till the superbowl

Sounds like he won't. Apparently, something went whack with the cups that he peed into and they messed with the caps and poured it into a different cup.. don't ask me, but that is what I heard.

Go 'Hawks!

lol tebow basically told his coaches he didn't want to play if he wasn't going to start..

also it sucks they don't play a couple games on Saturday anymore

well I'd be pissed too if I was a designated 2nd stringer and lost my job to the 3rd stringer after being promised equal playing time with the 1st stringer

yeah but that was a replacement for the Monday night game bc of xmas eve. What I mean is the last 2 weeks of the season they usually do a couple games late afternoon/evening games.

also I just looked it up and Tebow got a 22 on his Wonderlic test haha

Fucking vikings just stepping up big time when they need to win....They can beat the packers at home and make the playoffs...Ponder has been improving...if he can play good the vikings can be a threat, cause then you can't just stack the box worrying about AP anymore.

and the vikings defense is playing lights out...we've beat San Fran, and Houston...which when we played both of them people were calling Sanfran and houston the best teams in the league.

^damn thats legit, I always wonder what percentage of Ivy League athletes actually deserve to be there

A score of 10 means you're literate.

bc d lineman are known for their open field tackling... it was still a good play I guess but nothing like this
