Man, Arizona is god awful.

In other news, I went to the Redskins Vs. Ravens game last night for what was probably the best day of my life. Had on field passes so I got to see everyone warm up and I walked back into the tunnel right before Garcon and RG3. HE gave me a thumbs up!

Also, I took a piss in Dan Snyder's bathroom. He came in while I was pissing and is a huge asshole as you'd imagine. He asked what I do for a living, when I explained I worked for a bicycle advocacy non-profit, he told me I should probably have a few more drinks. My only regret is that I didn't shit in his bathroom.

pats are doing quite well as my last horse in the race. almost too good. like 3 losses by a combined 4 points or so and routinely blowing opponents out.

literally, the first time all year that i "bet" against eagles and chargers, they do win it. fucking chargers, you make me crazy, just two of these boneheaded losses less and there would be something going on, but some of them were just so dumb that you do not deserve it overall. at least this D is worth looking forward to next year. and if rivers gets another playmaker like god-sent denario alexander, there might be something going.

the afc should still come down to texans vs pats. the ravens arent that good. i count that 4th and 29 against the chargers as a loss, you cannot play like that when youre going for the number 1 seed. then you lose against your wounded division rival playing the 3rd QB. broncos are living too much on their D right now. yeah, i know who is playing QB, but that will be only getting tougher over the next weeks. and they too had 2-3 wins that arent wins, like the falcons. yeah, you can say "we did enough to win the game, blablabla", but come playoff time you will see which team was able to play its backups the whole 4th quarter and which team needed last minute miracle plays and OT to win.

texans and falcons will get worked against manning and the broncos if we play them in the playoffs, guaranteed. It will come down to rematch of patriots broncos in the championship game which will be epic! have no idea who will win, id like to hope for the broncos but brady and the patriots are playing really good. I just think manning is really determined to make it to new orleans and will do everything it takes to beat the patriots. so we shall see
 
The Ravens did beat the Pats and that was definitely a deserved win. However, the Ravens are way too inconsistent. And their defense is shit this year.
 
that was a 1 or 2 point win and a game that couldve gone either way. not saying it was undeserved, but if you play that game 10 times i dont think that any team would win more than 6.

 
Yeah, I know, but the Pats are definitely an elite team. The Ravens are just too inconsistent. There's only been a few games this year where both the defense and Flacco played well, and that was usually against bad teams, and the Pats. Other than that, the Ravens have been pretty poor overall in comparison to last season.
 
true. and i really think flacco is the problem. i mean, often times i think the offense gets held back when they focus too much on rice because the other team is so focused on stopping him.

then when they turn it over to flacco, he is able to deliver often times.

but then they try to throw it from the first minute of the next game and rice ends up with 12 touches or whatever.

they just dont have a balance and they dont have the type of consistency that you expect from a super bowl contender. the biggest problem is that a lot of team probably arent scared to play the ravens anymore because the defense lost its luster to a great extent.
 
so much for anyone thinking that foles is already better than vick. truth is vick was the most exciting player to watch in 2010 and he got injured IN THE POCKET 4 times afterwards and that probably killed his career.

everyone in the league told him "to stop running". yeah guess what, you have to run around because that line was horseshit this year. the brown fumble last night was a good example, there were 3 bengals ready to make a tackle for loss, thats just bad.

noone is telling roethlisberger that he should stop extending plays. he is injured all the time too and misses games or isnt 100%. but for a lot of reasons, noone cares.

I think the broncos have a good shot to make it to the AFC championship as well. The league would also LOVE to see brady vs. manning and it will be an awesome game but I really don't think manning can get past belichick much in the same way brady can't get past Eli. Belichick absolutely has manning dialed in plus his defense has been much improved over the last few weeks

I still think Peyton deserves to get recognition as MVP for the season even though there are some strong contenders..what he has done up in denver after coming back from that injury is amazing
 
yea but Roethlisberger has 2 rings in 3 Super Bowl appearances and has started about 90% of his eligible games while Vick is somewhere around 75%.

This is probably falling on deaf ears since nobody cares about the Chiefs but Romeo Crennel has to be one of the dumbest guys in the league, players included. Finally the local media is starting to question how he has survived in the league for so long while being such an unintelligent man.

He:

-though changing pregame warmups would be the key to victory

-he didn't know how many carries Jamaal Charles had after a game (only 7!!!!)

-yesterday was the worst tho, he completely went back on something he said as if reporters didn't have recording devices/ears/memories, it was seriously pathetic to hear him blatantly try to lie to a group of grown men who weren't going to having it. He sounded like he was on trial, the perfect mix of stupidity and anger at the realization you can't make people believe things just because you say them.

I feel like he gets a pass from the national media since he's black and talking bad about him would conflict with their ongoing narrative that there needs to be more black head coaches in all levels of football.
 
ben is also hobbling around in at least 5 other percent of his games.

and he won the superbowls behind very strong defensive play, not the other way around. 20 bucks right here say that vick would have 2 rings too playing with these defenses, but thats just my opinion
 
That's exactly it. They claim that the plan all allong was that when it gets cold later in the season, Rice will start getting more touches. But I just think that's a stupid plan. Ray Rice is too good to not be used as much as possible the whole season. We'll see if it's different now that Cam Cameron has been fired though.
 
The Ravens aren't even just inconsistent; they simply aren't good. 18th in total offensive yardage and tied for 24th in total defensive yardage allowed is a pretty damn bad combo.

I just went and looked at a bunch of overall stats on ESPN, and the Ravens aren't in the top HALF of the league in any major stats. The one exception is that they're in a four-way tie for 15th in interceptions. I don't know how they've made it this far, but it's safe to say their house of cards is going to crumble pretty soon.
 
They used to know how to win. They have good players, they just can't get things done. And they used to never lose at home. I don't know what's going on now.
 
I totally saw today coming. They still had a little mojo earlier in the season but that's gone now. They're done, really. They aren't going anywhere in the playoffs.
 
Pats all the way my friends....Today will be tough against the 9ers but i think they can do it just like they did last week....they have the next two weeks pretty easy with jacksonville then miami
 
so the chargers already call it a season? maybe better than play for real and get someone important hurt, who knows. this season was lost very early and lets just see whats in store next year.

still waiting for the pats game. its already past midnight over here, but i wont miss that game
