i didnt get that either. not that i am a fan or so, but idk why you wouldnt line up in freeze mode and then call the timeout with a few seconds left.

1) they might jump offside on fake snap counts

2) if not, you can see first hand at how they line up against your formation and maybe see that a safety moves down, zone/man, etc.

maybe they didnt want to give the D a chance to gather themselves, but the 3rd & 2 call was (although fairly obvious) sniffed out quite well and idk why you wouldnt talk about the most important play of the game for another minute.
 
watched this live, thought it was the stupidest things I have seen in a while. You're not in highschool anymore bro, and even if you were that would still be lame.

The bears finally found our breaking point. They played too damn good. They were a whole different team then when we played them on MNF. But If we get beat by scam newton, I will be livid.
 
Only reason why Detroit lost was because Stafford isnt used to playing in cold places...Chicago...hence why he was wearing gloves (which he doesnt wear).Just a bad game for detroit :( Calvin Johnson tripled teamed multiple times, some of the other receivers need to step up.
 
the bears made the lions look silly. Saying that Stafford plays bad in cold games could be a problem considering that Chicago is the warmest place in the NFC north. Also, Calvin Johnson is going to see those types of coverage every game. I have a feeling Detroit might not make the playoffs, because the Bears have a pretty favorable schedule the rest of the way so they are gonna be fighting for that last wild card spot.
 
Sad to say this but ya i did lol too. Im just upset that they may not make the playoffs. They got GB twice and SD once and thats their tough games...and ya ur right, Chi has got a good enough schedule to secure a Wild Card spot for sure
 
Anyone can 'slay' against a severely overrated New York Jets when they are on 4 days rest...

he went 9-20, and the Jets did NOTHING on offense. I'd give this one to the Denver D for largely doing their job...
 
ya i went to the game and it was definitely pretty slow, i'd give it up for the dfense for sure! either way broncos have slayed some not bad teams! ( not the best, but not bad)

I hate calling a game at halftime, but with the way the Raiders are playing today after getting jobbed on that opening Minnesota drive, It's fair to say they should be 6-4 and still in control of the division after this...
 
Yeah, it could all blow up in our face but I don't see a rookie quarterback facing that pass rush without Adrian Peterson and the only real threat being Harvin leading them all the way back. I mean, they will probably get closer because the Raiders will start playing prevent way too early like usual but it still won't happen for the Vikes

Serious question: Whatever happened to pass interference getting waived because the pass was uncatchable? Is that still a thing because I haven't seen it get called in a long time?
 
I see it all the time in college ball, but I seem to NEVER see it in the NFL anymore for some reason... Ball can go 20 feet over the players heads and flags go crazy like a southwest airlines bags fly free commercial.
