Official NFL 2011-2012 Thread

Last year, after the first two games of the regular season, he had the 2nd highest passer rating in the NFL. He has led the Ravens to the playoffs in a row since he was drafted. He had a bad game yesterday. In no way does he suck, though. Also, Ray Rice didn't even do that bad. They should have played him more.

so he had TWO good games back then? big difference. i am not saying that he is awful, but he wasnt the reason that they had all those playoff wins.

its kindof the same thing with sanchez or matt ryan. fans always (in my impression) complained how they didnt get full control over the game. now their teams have somehow adapted their offenses a little bit but so far its just not working. the jets really should have two losses more and the ravens go up and down all year.

they are NOT top-5 or even top-10 QBs.

let me think if they are top15:

(in no particular order, and i left peyton manning out because who knows if and how he will play again)

brady,

vick,

rodgers,

brees,

schaub

rivers. (although both have bad seasons for their standards, inverse situation, both teams wanted more balance and it restricts/limits the passing game)

roethlisberger,

stafford (borderline, looked not too awesome without a run game)

and now you can duke it out, whether fitzpatrick, newton (great, simply great so far), romo, e.manning, alex smith (kind of), bradford (lacking supporting cast, BIG TIME), freeman, ryan are better than then flacco.

QB risers:

fitzpatrick, newton, dalton (kind of), hasselbeck

stock lower than last year:

rivers, schaub, ryan, stafford, bradford, flacco

not complete lists, just on my mind

I said that after the first two regular season games last year, he had the second highest average QB rating of all the NFL QBs. Meaning that for the 14-15 or so games after the first two of the regular season, Joe Flacco had the second best average QB rating. So some could interpret that as second best in the NFL after the first two games of the season.

on one hand im stoked to be a panthers fan, on the other hand they make it tough with all these last second bullshit loses. oh well, were heading in the right direction. Cam is on his way to becoming an elite QB.

The one thing Tebow and Cam have in common is that they both sound like complete idiots when theres a microphone in front of them. Cam uses words he doesn't understand, while Tebow's annunciation is just odd.

So sick. I knew I would regret staying home to hand out candy with my gf rather than use the free ticket offered to me. To make it worse, we only got like 5 trick or treaters.

1st place.

Oh man thats a bummer! My dad told me he had extra tickets so I thought I could go as well, but turns out it was only one ticket, so I just watched at home instead, what a crazy game!

chargers are really bad this year. idk why. last year it was ST, this year its the offense.

something tells me that gates isnt healthy. and that "forced" balance isnt working imo either. we are ugly in the red zone while the defense actually plays better than last year imo.

rivers was so great last year playing catch-up, meaning teams knew he would throw the ball and he still beat them, idk wahts the problem now.

detroit looked bad fast. the bye is coming at the right time. although i am pretty confident that the eagles will be the team to beat in the NFC (besides the packers of course) and that the lions, bears, saints will look from the outside in come NFC championship time.

so true. as bad as the D played, the only egg was the giants game.

they basically gave away the other 3 losses.

the eagles are not my main team, but i like them because they are fun to watch because of vick. he and newton are the only guys that turned me into a fan of their team by themselves.

this weeks games look a lot better than last week's, hopefully they live up to it bc this LSU vs ALA game is boring as hell so far

* that interception that just happened while I was typing was pretty sick tho if it stands
