Official NBA Playoffs Thread

LeBron got away with a foul, but as someone above mentioned, OKC blew it in the first, they were playing catch up the whole game.

I dont like the Heat and I hope OKC wins in seven (because I want an exciting series) but the heat were +200 on the money line. I bet them and was definitely rooting for them to tie the series.

If you think that the Thunder are anything other than the underdog in this series then you must be new to the NBA. Not only has ABC been sucking Lebrons cock but so has ESPN. (ABC=ESPN=Disney I get it)

The only person on ABC who calls it right is Van Gundy.

haha wtf are you listening to bro? You think OKC are the underdog of this series? The only thing ABC, ESPN, talk about is how amazing KD is and how amazing (and he is)... Fuck after the first loss all I heard on ESPN was how LBJ choked with fucking 30 points. This win was the first time this series where I heard ppl give LBJ props.

This. He just speaks his mind all game its awesome

ESPN/ABC has baby bron's dick so far down its throat its unbelievable

The refs hand the heat another win last night...that blown call on lebron was awful

Doris burke literally wants lebrons dick. Does that count as a patial announcer, or just a woman with the voice of a man.

OCK needs to change their defense against the heat. They should just get their 5 biggest men to make a wall outside the hoop. Miami only went 6 of 34 from ten feet away. A wall would be the most effective defense

Apparently coaches can play defense now? Nothing like having 6 men on the court with 20 seconds left to go in the game...spolestra was the closest defender by like 10 feet.

Crawford swallowing his whistle to ensure a heat win by not blowing a whistle for an obvious technical foul...fuck the nba

Kevin Durant needs to assert him self early and stop making bitch fouls....can't win these games by not demanding the ball.

westbrook needs to not be a dumb ass, the dude can make some great plays but for every 3 great ones he has one that is so bad and costs them big time.

haha yes that T foul would have totally changed the outcome of that game.

ITT: Celtic fans cry about everything Miami Heat do.

My team is already out of the playoffs so I have no horse in this race.

If you sincerely believe the heat don't receive preferential treatment from the league you need to watch the games without your black and red glasses on..it comes to no surprise that you're a heat fan

I'm shocked half of that arena was still there when the heat were down by 9 in the fourth quarter..easily the worst fans in professional sports

You do realize how like everyone in the world hates Miami right, yourself clearly included? Like I don't understand where you guys are getting that there is a conspiracy that everyone wants Miami to win... Like you guys think everyone is on LBJ nuts, and yet you all simply forgot how whenever they went down in the series to the Pacers, the Celtics, even OKC game1, everyone jumped on the LBJ choking train. I just don't get it.

I dont like the heat because they bragged about winning a championship before they had even played together. "not one, not two, not three, etc" that pretentious attitude will earn you no respect. he may be one of the best players ever, but man they got big egos.

They called a lot of pretty weak low post fouls. like wades drive against perkins that was counted and the foul. wade comes in with his knee up and like pushes out so you cant block him.

hmm let me see here...

Kevin durant gets his fourth foul on this garbage call (:50)

but of course its not a foul when its baby bron bron at the end of the game

if you don't think the refs have been handing miami these games you're blind

They aren't going to call that foul ever in the nba finals on the last shot of the game, no matter who takes it. Unless the player gets completely hack so it completely messes up with the their shot it is not going to be called.

What about when LBJ got fouled out when he got dragged to the ground in the Boston series? I don't see you bitching about that. Face the facts, the NBA gives out shitty calls all the time, for every shitty call on your team against your team, you had a shitty call work for your team.

did anyone see lebron walking to the locker room after his interview take off his headband and hand to some girl who instantly put it on? that shit was probably so wet with sweat.

People only focus on the negatives... Remember when he gave high fives to OKC fans as he walked to the locker room after game 1 (which they lost)? Guarantee you only a handful of ppl would do that in the league right now.

I hate lebron more than the average NBA fan does but jumping on him for shit like this is just stupid. There is no professional athlete that says hi to every single fan at every single opportunity...you would be the same person to say "did you see lebron high fiving fans at half time when the heat are down 10 points!?! What an asshole!"

there are plenty of things to hate lebron for..this is not one of them.

.

If you didnt think it was biased before this game, i dont know how you can still think the refs are calling this equally. maybe the refs are just plain bad.

Fuck these refs.

Seriously.

Ive always thought it was fucked up but this game takes the cake. It could not be any more obvious that it is in the best interest of the NBA for lebron and the Heat to win.

I should have absolutely no emotional value put into this series, since there is no Minnesota team.

but fuuuccck I hate Miami....I hope by some miracle the Thunder can come back.

Heat winning the championship is worse than the Packers winning the superbowl.

Hard to take this win away from Miami. They hit the big shots when OKC was missing wide open shots and making mental errors.

This.

But i have every right to be butt hurt about the blown calls this game. coulda easily added up to a double digit lead.

Not a Miami fan... A LBJ fan for the past 5 years or so since I started watching the NBA, and well Miami winning means LBJ winning so yea. 2 years now I guess.

Not trying to hate, but why?

I don't get why anyone is a fan of watching Lebron play. I've obviously never met him, but just watching his facial expressions/mannerisms on the court make me dislike him.

I just feel like there are better players, who are move fun to watch.

fuck i missed the whole second half of the game because i needed to get up early for work..I didnt think the first half was officiated all that bad in the first half- a few calls here and there I didnt like but i've come to realize the fact the heat are gonna be shooting more FT than any team by double digits so the first half didnt surprise me..how many bad calls were there in the second??

I'd rather see the yankees, giants, vancouver canucks and lakers win championships for another decade straight than the heat win once..I fucking hate watching them (wade and bron) piss and moan EVERY SINGLE TIME they drive to the hoop and don't get a call..grown ass men whining and crying like italian soccer players is embarassing..fuck the heat

I actually really really liked lebron when he came into the league his first couple of years w/ cleveland..he's probably the most gifted athlete to ever walk the planet and it was amazing to watch him play against the worlds best players and absolutely destroy them

Then he started his douchey trend while leaving cleveland and going to the heat and he's become more and more insufferable to the point where I wouldnt mind seeing him get a career ending injury just so sportscenters stops sucking his D and I dont have to watch him flop/whine on the court anymore

uhh the thunder themselves haven't complained about the refs at all. its analysts and fans who are pissed that what should have been the best finals matchup in quite a while is being overshadowed by terrible officiating and now a bullshit rule. the calls going against the thunder are more numerous, more blatant, and occur during vastly more important times than whatever phantom calls you vaguely mentioned that have going against miami

Well back in the day when I first started watching he was playing for the Cavs and at the time was a pretty likable person. I also live in Ohio so that's another reason why I even got into the NBA cause LBJ played for Cleveland. I made the decision prior to "The Decision" that I would continue to follow him no matter where he went, and since Cleveland and Cincinnati (I live) are rivals in every other sport I really never was a Cavs fan.

But honestly if people weren't being biased from his actions from last year, he has truthfully conducted himself much better this year. Like from my point of view, the way he is acting now is the reason why I actually became a fan in the first place.

*But I agree with you, my favorite player to actual watch is Dirk, just because I love how his fadeaway's are literally unguardable and have crazy amounts of arch.
