Now that things have started to shake out, I want to get some banter and speculation in here.

Topics to start with:

-Knicks won a game to force the series to 5 games with the Heat.

-Boston blew out the Hawks and now lead the series 3-1

-Rose-less Bulls hanging on at 1 game to the 76'ers 3

-Lakers in the same spot as always

-Thunder sweeping the Mavs

-And others...

I'll start. Its bittersweet, but mostly sweet as a Boston fan right now. You get the sense that each game might be the last you see the big 4 together. Its a beautiful thing that they are putting together another run for us.

You think Bosh is gonna do anything against this team? Between getting

knocked out of the way by Perkins and getting blocked by this lanky kid

from the Congo it's up to James and Wade who have to deal with Durant's

long ass arms and Westbrooks quickness. And on top of that they have Sefolosha playing shutdown D on everyone else. Thunder all the way
 
Really wanted to see OKC Chicago, shame Rose got hurt. (If Lakers dont make it).

Can't wait to see a Boston Miami series. Only time i root for a Boston team. They seem to play their best ball against them.
 
Well, Since its becoming apparent that the Nuggets cant beat the Lakers, I am now rooting for the Celtics
 
NBA is rigged. Im debating on wetherI should stop watching, even though I love watching basketball. Its just hard to watch a game thats essentially meaningless.
 
Teams whose owners aren't trying run them into the ground just so they can move it closer to their casino
 
I'm a big basketball fan, I love the celtics and they might actually have a shot of doing something this year which is a pleasant surprise. Spurs are going to work in the Western conference, as are thundaaa, so they are a force to be reckoned with. I think the thunder will beat the lakers and the spurs will beat the clippers in the next semis. For the eastern conference as much as I hate the heat they'll probably move onto the semis, and I hope boston smacks the shit outta the 76s in the semis.

I really hope the celtics have a good run! because after this season I predict things going downhill fast for the celts, and honestly I wanna see rondo leave soon, mostly because I love the guy and he needs to further his career by going to a more promising team.

C's FTW. I'm not really into basketball but I recently went to the Celtics game on sunday and the Celtics are fuckin' stacked, they almost doubled ATL 's score before the 2nd half!
 
The Knicks are all but done so Im going for the underdogs. Clippers, Thunder and The Hawks.

I want to see an upset this year. Fuck Lebron and the Heat.

Bulls pulled off a good old fashioned hard fought win tonight. Cant wait for the same on Thursday hopefully.

And I dont want to admit it, but damn, I have become a Kobe fan. I just cant help but love watching him play baskteball.

Really, I could care less who wins what this year, as long as the Heat dont get a championship.
 
you might not like him as a person, but if you're a basketball fan you have to respect kobe especially when it comes to big games - the dude just knows how to win

that being said I agree with brenone and most other people in this thread fuck the heat. I would literally rather watch any other team win the championship instead of lebron

Also I want to see the clips make a deep run..I have a man crush on griffin especially when he posterizes people night in and night out. And his kia commercials are hilarious
 
Anyone think the Nugs can actually win the series? Its a possibility, if they win game 6 then I see Denver winning. If Javalee McGhee continues to play the way he has then you gotta go with Denver.
 
Game 6 is gonna be such a good game. But two in a row is tough when all it takes is one good game from LA's bigs. Plus Artest would be back in for game 7 which would energize the defense.
 
I think Artest could possibly hurt LA with a team like Denver. The Nuggets fast pace style of play is something that would wear down MWP quickly, especially after not playing for a while. He's arguably there 4th or 5th best player as well. Its defiantly going to interesting, LAL isn't going to blow them out. If the Nugs play there game then they could easily win this.

Im stoked for the Nugs run. And love seeing Javale mature and change now that hes not on the Wizards. But the Lakers will take this. No doubt in my mind on that one.
 
If the Lakers are so much better than the Nuggets like everyone assumes then why wasn't this series over after game 4. Its now going to game 6 yet people have the same assumptions. Dont you think that people should be a little more optimistic now that its going to game 6?
 
why the fuck would horford make that second free throw?? just shows how low the bball IQ of that whole team is. not to mention that epic fade away 20 footer josh smith barely grazed the rim with with 10 seconds left...GO C'S

And Ben., saying you have "no doubt in your mind" that the lakers will take this is surprising to say the least... they're making a crazy run and playing really well. i've got this series goin to the nuggets

nugshow currently going HAM. I'm a big nuggets and grizzlies fan, so I hope they can both make it to the semis. I dig the thunder too (except westbrook) so if they won I would be stoked. Celtic hawks was a toss up for me, I really like both teams, but I think the celtics have a better chance against the heat. Indiana is kinda sick and I'm curious to see how they play next series. I got family from philly so I am down with the sixers too. As far as the spurs and heat, the sooner they lose the happier I will be.

 
I would love if it were possible to have a san antonio vs okc final.

Hands down the two best teams in the NBA right now. the west is stacked, got the best teams in the league this year.

Clippers memphis series is heatin up to just what i expected, hoping memphis can pull out the win.

I literally just found out 2 days ago that the charlotte hornets are NOT the charlotte hornets anymore, and haven't been for 10 years? It seems every starter jacket i've seen has been a lie.

seriously fuck the lakers, gayest team in the league. They will get butt fucked by OKC.

But great season/series by the nuggets. watch out for these motherfuckers next season because they'll be comin out hot. Go nuggets
