Hahaha I have to laugh at how little this caught on in comparison to the NFL and NHL threads...

Came here to say it's all about Sauce Castillo.

The Bucks will be serious contenders as long as they don't fuck up in the off-season. Jabari is a beast.

I will never understand how people can like the NBA but not like college basketball

Because they cry about the 35 second shot clock and the game being too defensive...

People that like the NBA and think NCAA ball is boring are the same people that only watch because Kobe or Jordan or Lebron... The same people would think the Sacramento Kings in 2000 were boring to watch because Webber wasn't a hyped enough name or something, and they don't play in NYC or LA. Same people think the Spurs are a boring team to watch. Same people Who leave early during a Miami Heat playoff game.

I mean, fine, take away the 35 second clock, but I'd much rather see a balanced, tactical, and defensive affair than a game that's over by the 3rd quarter like so many NBA games are. Meanwhile like... 90% of all games this march have been close until the final 30 seconds... many have come down to who has the ball last. That's exciting to me... I want to see an entire team moving the ball... not just "give the ball to Kobe" or "here you go, LeBron. Do your thing. I'll go retire now"

It's so funny too, because it's the exact opposite situation in regards to the gridiron. The NFL is usually balanced and defensive, and will end with a score of 24-31. Then you watch a college game and it's 45-14 at the half - or it will be a barn burner where the defense can't stop anything and the quarterbacks are just chucking up TD's all night... and people complain about that. You can't fucking win haha.

We literally have the same thoughts on this. I can't really get into college football but I love watching the nfl.

And yeah, those defensive struggle games are always interesting to watch, as it just makes each possession that much more important.

Yeah. I think NCAA football can be awesome when it isn't just constant 4 or 5 wide, chuck the ball down the field all night kinda shit. I'd much much rather see an awesome option running team (I LOVE watching Navy or Georgia Tech play. Always crazy to watch the ball movement and misdirection - fools everyone even the cameramen)

But that's the thing. The NCAA is full of coaches that just stress the spread like Rich Rodriguez or Mike Leach. I don't even like going to Berkeley games anymore because it's too predictable (oh here's another pass... yawn)

But the NFL, you actually see some grinding for yards. I think it's way too slow because of all the obnoxious stoppages in play for commercials, and the play clock is like 4 hours too long... but the games definitely have more defense than in NCAA.

But yep. I'd take watching a randomncaa basketball game between any two teams over watching some NBA star put up 60 points against a lottery team where the crowd is simply murmuring with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd.

Anyone else watching the finals?

What's with all the Overtime... Someone at Buffalo Wild Wings is fucking with shit.

Yeah. Curry had the worst shooting game of his whole career. Delladova. That scrappy dude is fearless. And Bron. I hate him. But. Fuck he steps it the fuck up. Part of me wants clravland to win. Cause. Its Cleveland. Poor poor Cleveland

What about Oakland? The way that people in San Francisco talk about it, it might as well be fucking Cleveland...

...then again the media has pretty much resigned to the Warriors playing in what might actually be San Francisco, because there's no way Oakland could have anything good right?

Oh well. Least we're both not detroit!
