scroll all the way to the bottom of mythreads and in red on the bottom right there's a link to 'delete all my threads'
 
I have a mac and use firefox, howcome whenever i try to embed a video on safari it works, and on firefox the box to write the embeded code in doesn't
 
disable the fancy gui editor, then all you have to do is paste the code in the reply box and go

safari and firefox are different scripts, they won't always work the same
 
top left in the orange box under your inbox/my threads there's a link that says "manage my ns"

click on that, scroll until you see the box to disable the fancy gui editor, and then save changes
 
so yes, i am a noob to NSers. ive been checkin out the site quite a bit. and even used your nifty little search bar to no avail. I was checking out the b/s/t sheeet and keep seeing the word "bumb" or "+k", or "op"...somebody school me please...take it easy on meh. and how do you build kharma or give people kharma points?
 
bump = refreshing their thread to the top of the forum

+k = people stating they will give you karma for whatever they want from you

OP = original poster, so the one who made the thread

and you give karma by putting your mouse ontop of someone elses karma points, than you can choose to rate them 0-10.

and to gain karma, you have to deserve it. and if you deserve it, it will come.
 
get an icon as soon as you can, there are plenty of people on ns that can make u one, or even one of dem fancy movin ones, u just need to ask them nicely. theres a thread about it in site discussion or, go on google images and search what u want, wto the left of the results there should be a column with sizes, click on "icon" and there you go.
 
Is there anyway for a mod to change my name because I spelt it wrong :/ haha. Well it was already taken so I left the K out but I just realized that I could have put a "." at the end and I don't really want to wait a month.
 
I wish people actually read this... After like 5 years on ns ive never been so frustrated with newbs and thread reposts... Its ruining it for me and the old timers
 
Dear "Gator",thanks for all the help. I'm sure you were thinking about noobs like me when you put the 5 hours into making this. Maybe one day i will become a NS "post whore" like you and talk shit without actually doing anything. Perhaps I'll even throw some front flips off cliffs. And maybe If I ever get good enough ill have some videos of me actually skiing. You blow.

 
is there a n00b guide for media & arts? about to get into filming this summer and i know nothing.
 
You're probably better off looking at film-specific or camera-specific community forums, there are many good ones out there.

There are lots "Which camera is best for beginner" threads around M&A, but you could also check out Movie Maker Cult for tricks and tips.
