It probably won't happen for a very long time but I would love to see a Phillies and A's match up in the series. I'm a fan of both teams (of the A's for longer) and a season ticket holder of the Phils. Both are startin off pretty well but it is early in the season

i have the suday package for the phils, myself. the phils do play oakland this year june 24,25,26 at oakland.
 
Yeah I know, that doesn't help me any though. I live an hour south of Philly. They played them like 2 or 3 years ago as well but again it was in Oakland. Damn it! My wife an I thought of flying out just to see a game cause they are only like 5 miles from the airport. I don't think that's gonna happen though. Sucks cause I do believe this is their last season in Oakland before moving to their new home.
 
you are not missing much, the oakland coloseeum is a shitty place to watch a baseball game. but may be i see you at the mets game this sunday hope we crushem good

Yeah I'll be there on Sunday. What section are you in? I'm in 421 right behind home plate, kinda feels like I'm sitting on home plate....accept really high up lol. That would be sweet, sendin them back with their tails tucked between their legs. I want to see Fridays match up with Hamels and Santana.

to the other philly fan, i've heard of oakland moving but where too? there is going to be a new team name too? any idea on what it is?

There getting better tho. Once we get granderson back our offence should be solid. But I still think we gotta deal inge, jacqu jones, or dontrell willis for some relief and soon. I dont think wilis is liking the AL that much, he was a hitter.
 
i agree with whoever said gabe kapler was the story of the year. comes out of nowhere to the top of the league after managing in the minors. mad respect for this guy. brewers are looking pretty sharp, their big guns arent the only ones producing, thats really helps. cameron will be back in awhile, and jason kendall, on of the leading batters in the NL.

chances seem pretty good for a few games in october..
 
na man detroits offense is already solid and stacked. not sure who granderson is but the tigers shouldn't be doing as bad as they are. they were the last team in the league to win two games in a row. THATS PRETTY BAD. i know we're only 14 games in but damn. so many people had them as the team to beat but so far, thats false. they'll come around though but i i hope not
 
For some reason it always works out that way. In the beginning of the season, the teams that normally suck end up in 1st for a bit then bomb back down after a while. The teams you expect to be on top start on the bottom and end up climbing
 
The past three games it seems the Tigers' bats have finally awoken. Especially Cabrera's. And you are right, I think the Yankees made the playoffs after starting 9-14, so there is plenty of time left.

Rocks are on a roll right now to (knock on wood), won four games in a row...above .500, and have now won three straight series... atlanta, san deigo, and now houston
 
mets on a tear right now winning 5 straight. i hope they can keep the hottness up. i'm going to the game next sunday the 27th againist the braves. should be sick. shea stadium is like fucking heaven.

oh and worf, so far 2 out of 3 on the phils, WHATS GOOD MAN? but have fun at the game today, hope pelfrey can pull through, i think he's pitching
 
Yeah, that 5 game streak...stopped at 5 games. No brooms involved at the CB. Pelfrey dropped the ball, Chase goin 3 for 3 w/ 2 homers. Hell of a game. There were so many fights that broke out in that stadium, alot of people got thrown out. It is unwise to support the team that is the biggest rival in Philly.

so a couple of weeks ago i saw the brewers face the reds at miller park. FRONT ROW SEATS! most amazing thing i've witnessed in a long, long while. even went into 10 innings and brewers came out on top, so awesome. i'm still a twins fan for life, though. i'm anxious to see where this season goes sans santana.
 
well we took game 3 but what an eciting game to be at the phils always got to let teams back in the games and make it close just to make my blood pressure rise. Chase Utley 3 for 3 with 2 HR and a walk what a game
 
Did you see all the Mets fans they were kickin out? That was awesome. A couple of fights broke out in our section last night. What section were you in?
 
i was in 421. any time a mets fan opened up his mouth the guy in front of me held up a 2007 division banner. haha. how bout last night in colorado, chase with another dinger. burrell had one too and werth an inside the park roundtripper
