Official Lost final season countdown

Some people claim it meant richard was a slave on the black rock, and thus a slave to the island. (the reason he never got old)

Yeah i'm totally confused now - it was pretty mental though.... the whole Plane landing in LA in one ... err... whatever, parallel universe... then the whole island madness and Juliet's final words being "It worked"

WTF is going on!?!

I heard on average people who enjoy the show have an IQ above 100. So i think people who hate it just cant understand it so they get upset.

lost makes absolutely no sense...at all

how is locke dead and alive at the same time?

when are they gonna explain some shit?

The real Locke IS dead. The Locke that was "alive" and killed Jacob and countless others is somehow a fake. Did you see when the smoke monster killed those 4 guys and Ben was just hiding in the corner, yet it didnt go after him and Locke was no where to be found? Its bc that 'fake' Locke was the smoke monster! crazy, i know. But it makes sense bc after the monster disappeared, Locke came back and said to Ben "Sorry you had to see me like that."
so the real question is, WHO IS PRETENDING TO BE LOCKE ?! ahh will we ever really know? haha

while the premiere wasn't what i thought it was gonna be. it was still pretty cool. WTF is locke or i mean who is locke? why is the island underwater in the parallel universe? wtf is gonna happen.

i thought the show was pretty stupid for a long time, but then i went with it. much more fun if you get into it...

..it worked?

A WILD POLAR BEAR APPEARS!!!

CHARIZARD, I CHOOSE YOU!!! AN FUCKING LISTEN TO ME TOO YOU BITCH!

the way i look at is that locke is that guy in the black shirt that was talking to jacob last season, who turns into the black smoke monster

As locke said, "There are 2 sides, light and dark." Jacob was wearing white and "Locke 2" was wearing black and plotting to kill jacob. So lets assume he is the dark side of the island.

i understand that. but i mean who/what is he, i could be asking the same thing about jacob. yea good/bad light/dark, but are the gods? angels? the devil?

jacob has the powers of life and helps the others and jack and gang, while black jacob kills

what?

And to kthanxbie i assume they are some sort of messangers or dieties. I dont think they are supreme gods, as in they rule everything good and everything evil, they are merely messangers of each side. I guess in a pagan religions they could be considered "ods"

This is the truth.

Remember? They couldn't kill one and other - but he was going on about how he would find a loop hole and kill him...?

Then, right before Ben killed Jacob he said "so you found your loophole"

Basically he somehow became an image of Locke or whatever... used that to convince Ben to kill Jacob, due to the fact Ben was threatened and intrigued by Locke at the same time...

As for the bottom of the sea shit, the plane landing in LA, yet having everyone on board - but with opposite stories (Hurley having good luck, boon (name check?) not being with his sister.. etc... and wut ?! Desmond on the plane..... well that my friends, is just frickin mental crazy sh*t...

I dont understand how they have one story going on where they survive on the plane and then all of a sudden there back on the island. The island is underwater for a little while. I have no fuckin clue whats going on with lock.

How did they never discover that village if it was so close to the hatch.

Show makes no sense, I'm still going to watch it but they could have made it A LITTLE easier to comprehend... fuck..

I get this but how come ben ealisy kills white jacob with a knife but when Illana and those dudes with guns come in and shoot at "Locke" or "Black Jacob" The bullets bounce off him?

awww f*ck it - i don't know.... like all great warriors... he had an achilles heal and the other dude is just pure bad ass....

either that or the bad dude had some sneaky kevlar on....

I think, as some others have hypothesized, that Richard was at one time enslaved on the island or something along those lines. The chains may also be metaphorical at the same time though.. There was nothing about Richard in chains in any previous season so I'm assuming Locke (well Jacobs enemy wtv) was referring to an older time period before flight 815 crashed.
Also the foot under water at the start was like woah...

I used to enjoy this show, but it has gone way too far. Everyone can die and come back and do crazy shit like turn into other people. And they can time travel and the island can move. Its gone way to far to even have a purpose. Its lost all its suspense. Now when a character dies (like Sayeed did) I'm like who the fuck cares they will probably just bring him back somehow or just time travel to when he was alive. The show is fucking dumb.

And for those who don't understand how they can be on the island when the plane never crashed see Donnie Darko.

the foot underwater might mean that the island was moving and the island was not developed or created yet, I'm not quit sure but it is the only logical reasoning for it. I'm probably wrong because I haven't been able to guess anything that is going to happen in this show.

the only reason that doesnt make sense is if the island wasn't created yet then there would be no way for the foot to be there or the dharma baracks. i guess it couldve been moving, but then everyone on the island wouldve been dead or gone. i dont know whats happening

its one thing to create a show that's intriguing and intelligent, its another thing to create a show thats so fucking ridiculous and absurd in order for it to survive more than 2 seasons. anyone can write a show where characters come back to life, the whole premise is compromised and literally anything can happen without much reasoning.

im glad this shit show is ending and i highly doubt they will answer most of peoples' questions leaving it to their imaginations.

honestly I think they made the first 4 seasons and then relized they should try to answer some questions. The fact is that the show was better when you had no fuckin clue what was going on, Im my opinion. I do think they could turn it around but I was disappointed for sure

The thing is if the island wasn't developed yet then how would the foot have been built, also the foot at one point was a full statue (which we see at one point when they're traveling through time last season) so it doesn't make sense that the underwater island is older..

I think we should just stop trying to figure this out for now and see what the writers pull out of their ass this time.

fuck yeah. i mean who actually makes an attempt to watch a tv show? the only shows i like are ones where i can watch random episodes and totally understand whats going on. i mean who wants a well developed story?

I'm pretty sure the island underwater was in the alternate universe where they are all safe on the plane like nothing happened....ahh, dang it, just as I'm writing I realized that the island should be just like it was when the crashed, so that doesn't make sense.

I'm just trying to defend those who think the show is stupid and way too sporadic. When in this thread people have made claims that people who watch the show somehow are smarter than the average bear.

And Panda. I choose, Random Bomb Shelter!

Too bad I laid my "Rape" Trap Card in advance!

Goddamnit, I am mixing Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh now... yeesh.

And Ben, I tried to watch the whole show, numerous times. First couple, the polar bear threw me off. Then I made it midway through season 2 and felt that they were giving us twists for the sake of having a twist. That is when I moved to House, Band of Brothers DVDs, and Samurai Champloo.

i thought it was sick. and to the person who asked about how they could be in both places at once, they're in alternate dimensions

the Black Rock, the boat that crashed on the island, was a slaving ship, and i'm pretty sure it means that richard was one of the slaves on that boat

Exactly who I think it is too. The beach scene which began season 5 finale I believe was where we met him

Okay so I have a bunch of ideas that I would like you guys to think about. Im in AP-Bio right now "taking notes" and my list is on my other laptop but Im going to throw some at you right now. So I kept getting this feeling that the island and the plane are some sort of heaven/hell. Which one is which I have yet to figure it out. The temple seems to be a judgement center for people who are dying, lke Sayid and Ben. Remember Ben was brought there when he was shot back in the 70's when he was little. The casket which Jack's father was in, is missing from Oceanic flight 815. It seems to be in every parallel universe. Remember the episode, "The Constant" where when flying through time, Faraday proposed that they needed to find a constant. Penny was Desmonds constant. I feel like the casket may be some sort of constant. Finally, where is Faraday? Tell me what you guys think about these ideas

Yep, shot by his mum. I think Widmore and Eloise Hawking are the "Adam and Eve" that they find in the cave in the first season.

they have said time and time again that it's not heaven and hell or a sort of middle ground. and my theory is that since the fasket, desmond and locke's knives all dissapeared from the plane, they all ended up on the island where they were supposed to be
