Official Jiberish August Back To School Drop Thread

This line is disgusting in my opinion. You could find the shirt designs in fucking JCPenny. Everything is just so boring and I really can't see people skiing around in it.

 
well don't expect a streetwear company to have some crazy ass designs anymore. They are STREETWEAR. Deal with it and quit being so damn negative. There are other brands then Jiberish you know?
 
Have you not realized yet that Jiberish is a STREETWEAR brand? As in, they make clothes for wearing around town, and not so much geared for skiing? Of course you can still ski in it, but why the fuck would you ski in an $82 hoodie, and get it all ripped up and dirty, when you could buy a $20 hoodie from Wal-Mart and ski in that? Or even a Line/Armada/Insert Ski Company Here hoodie that cost you maybe $50?
 
every single year jiberish has had 35 inch (or larger) sweatshirts....whether they are called 2xl like in 08/09, 4xl like 09/10 and this year, or 5XL like 10/11...jiberish...started as skiing apparell...and makes streetwear in the spring/fall...the winter line...which is now being discussed (contrary to the name of the thread) contains 35 inch sweatshirts
 
I HAVE realized that Jiberish is a streetwear brand. They are most of what I wear around on a daily basis. I probably own around 20 pieces.

Their prices have always been high, and people have always skied in their hoodies. From what I've heard, the fall drop was supposed to be more winter/skiing based like they used to be, compared to their summer drops.

I understand that they are going more towards the streetwear side of things, and I support that.

However it is just my opinion that I dislike the type of designs they decided to use in this drop.
 
valid point....maybe my reasoning for my point that jiberish is a skiing company wasnt strong enough.... lets try again, A) 5xl, B)first year or two were all skiing sweatshirts released in the winter, C) they have a majority of athletes that skii under their wing, D) they release ski/snowboard videos annuall, E) i BELIEVE (still unsure) that pete stated that they were still primarily a skiing company.
 
Nope. Pete has repeatedly made it clear that they are a streetwear company with roots in skiing - sorta like all the streetwear companies with roots in skateboarding - they came from skiing, and was made possible by skiiers, but they have branched off now and are trying to break into the streetwear market, becoming more and more focused on streetwear. Of course they will still make ski stuff, and I'm willing to bet that the 2nd drop will appear to be more "skiing" related, but for now, it's still 2 months before most places will get snow, so it appears as though this is kinda a fall streetwear/winter streetwear drop.
 
If someone sends me a generous amount of moonay i will quite possibly do a duty of purchasing and sending said item to them once it is outz

 
you never know i can buy it myself love the hoodie with all my heart then the next week do a My Dog Skip parting with the hoodie......i believe pdrago cant turn down my dog skip.........you never know i could be teasing cause im super dingity dong bored
 
i feel like that would backfire in my face for sure. plus unless there are some unreleased flannel colorways or nice look casual jacket i'm not all that interested currently. i don't need a camo loHi for $82+. haha
 
Know that i keep looking at it, i dont really care for any of the new sweatshirts. The windbreakers and the crewnecks are tight though
 
just so yall know i was just playin.....just kinda wanted to see how many people really are taking a hoodie so seriousry.....but do to many pms.....i am past my retard moment
