Official Jiberish August Back To School Drop Thread

Yeah there drops are off surrounded by too much hype, and I'm sensing a level of disconnection from the freeskiing community, way to wiggered out lingo on the twitter feed, nothing gayer than hearing white dudes say ho
 
yeah i have seen a lot of new stuff too but from my understanding they are waiting until the winter lines to release all of it.
 
Jiberish can't always be spot on with there drops. I'm sure they rely on the shipping from the manufacturer which is really a guess in when it will reach the states thanks to customs and what not. I'm sure Jiberish will put it up the second the sort everything out when they get the items.

Im prolly just gonna grab a shirt and that sweater from the new jiberish whenever it drops and maybe a shirt from diamond supply co.
 
None of it is overpriced. Stuff is overpriced when people do not buy it. Supreme has found a good price, because they make a strong profit, as well as always selling out of everything. Hell, they could probably charge more and still sell out because they are established.

It's not like Supreme is low quality either. And some of their designs are sick. The New Yorker hoodie? So sick. There's a reason I got it. The cords? There is a reason they cost more than CCS pants, and it's not just the label.

I hate to say it, but I think I'm pretty much over Jiberish. I think I might still buy the occasional piece if something is real cool, but I think I have had enough with tall ski kinda-streetwear that comes in sizes to 5xl.
 
everyone seems to have the same mood, the bright colours are slowly fading away and people seem to be wearing more reasonable sized clothing, i kind of like it
 
This. I only have two pieces for skiing, my 3xl aristocrat and 4xl ignant. I am pretty sick of jiberish myself (even though I own a lot). I just want two more things a Auburn Flannel and a ample Puffeh, and maybe a hat. But for the most part I am done buying jiberish.
 
I swear to god if you make one more post about how tall hoodies are stupid, the new stuff is fashionable/classy, or about how Jiberish is moving in the right direction away from us apparently stupid "kids" who buy tall hoodies when you're like 15...

We fucking get it. You don't like tall hoodies, you're a trendy motherfucker, blah blah blah. Awesome. Go brag about that elsewhere.
 
ha trust me I love supreme but I would argue that much of it is overpriced.. not so much now as it used to be, but before they switched their manufacturing to Canada it was shitttty quality. it's still not great, but the profit margins are definitely substantial on one color screened pullovers with an iffy fit for like 150+ shipped (which I paid for the futura so it is what it is), their basic stuff is mad expensive.

For example, a visvim shoe for 1000 or tshirt for 200 might be real sick and GREAT quality, but from a materials standpoint it is definitely overpriced (or look at nigos new line of 3000 dollar bomber jackets). Same with like a CDG tee or a Givenchy sweather.. yea the market dictates a price and a profit but only to an extent

Ill keep buying supreme for numerous reasons (until all the tyler/OFWGKTA fanboys kill the shit) but many of their pieces are, and will always be, overpriced
