My parents thought it was stupid when I got my first Jiberish hoodie, but now they've come to cope with the fact that I'm horrible with money.
 
Same here. I never et new clothes so I can ask my parents to drop 100 on a hoody and they don't care. My sisters constantly go shopping and drop 200+ all the time
 
Got my L Slate Chambreezy... My favorite piece of jiberish hands down. Only complaint is that jiberish made the zippers a lower quality
 
it's extremely similar to the color on Abstract. the chambray material itself is a true red, but the ribbing is definitely a thulian pink.

uhhhhm yeah, it does. clothing and streetwear are interests of mine, and I value having a style and looking good. so I'm going to spend my money the way I want, thanks. Plus half the time my parents don't even get the chance to say no, I have a debit card, and direct deposits to my checking account for my paycheck.

On a different note, am I the only one laughing at the people now trying to sell their 08/09 and prior Jiberish? It seems to me that with the quality of this summers drop, people are going to start paying a lot less for old Jiberish

Did they make the same amount in the older lines? If so then I see your point. But I'm not necessarily talking about this summer line, because it's mostly tee shirts. I'm thinking that since the ribbing is fixed, people will save their money for the winter line and buy shit from there, because seriously, a lot of older Jiberish is fucking ugly (in my opinion) and people just dig it because of the better quality/resale value/better fit/rarity, the first three of which have been replicated in the summer line.
 
Some newer pieces line the bold charcoal or gridded over something like the bees knees or whatever it's called. The fit may not be as good, but it looks better

Last month I spend $50 on a t shirt too! Oh, the humanity! All things considered, Jiberish isn't that expensive. Sure, it's probably a bit overpriced for what it actually is, but there are far more expensive pieces of clothing out there. You get what you pay for.
