Official I need help finding a job thread!

Depending on where you live the best places to work are ones like

Dunkin Donuts/Walmart/any local convience store/ restaurants as dishwashers

just go in and be like yo ar you hiring??

I'm 16, I could work for the city doing gardening and shit but I really don't like doing that. I'm about to hit up some golf courses right now and maybe check out the mall.

i just applied for safeway (i'm 15) cuz i need moneys for skis, boots, bindings, and summer camp next year. Who knows if they'll hire, but they always accept applications. I bet it's the same with any other big store.

make a resume and just go around and hand them out at places that you'd like to work at. it's really easy

just a note, you probably know this.....get someone to proof read your resume. please. ive seen too many people come in the places ive worked, trying to get a job there, having the worst possible resumes. generally their resume gets passed around, everyone has a good laugh then it ends up in the garbage.

haha, i bet. We had to make resumes in planning this year, so i've already got a pretty good one. The teacher checked them over like 50 times for us.

Old Navy = store that sells clothes for guys and girls

Garden = what old ladys do, and apparently what the city will pay you to do to make their city not look like a big shit hole.

And I already have a resume we did them in class, I hope they dont laugh at mine =(

look in da classifieds, or go to somewhere you WANT to work at, or has good pay and ask if they're hiring anytime soon. cuz that's wat i'm doin w/ my friend to work @ a ice cream place.

How good of crudentials do you have and how old are you? An internship could be very beneficial depending on your age and you can make mad bank.

in seattle, craigslist has SOO MANY jobs on everyday, but i think we might use the thing even more than SanFran.

and trust me, legit jobs SUCK BALLS

just stick to hustling.

It depends what kind of internship you have, alot of them do pay however. Last summer I worked for an Organic Chemistry company and I manly ran synthesis reactions, i didn't get paid much (8.25 an hour, which was 3 dollars over michigans minimum wage) but I worked full time so I still made some good money. This summer I am pretty sure I will be working at Pfizer, full time, in their animal health department as an intern and the salary will be somwhere between 16-20 an hour, so you just gotta find the right place to work.

craigslist is a good idea, organic grocery stores because they pay well, starbucks, try marketing companies (door to door selling, etc...), obviously retail, busing/dishwashing, landscaping, construction (pays well and gets you in shape)...

dude ur retarted. just got around lookin fo places with now hiring signs and apply. Restraunts are always lookin for extra ppl at this time, because its almost summer. Fuckin grocery stores shit like that

i thought we had this conversation already just check out the mall its a ton of fun i mean u get to check out hot chicks roaming around and bulshit with people all day and get payed for it.
