Dig the team, I'm def going to get Menez, gotta reconfigure my formation but it'll be worth it. Menez' regular non-if at RW is amazing in a 4-3-3. He scores literally every game for me, by far my favorite player in fifa 13.
 
He looks awesome. Especially now that his shot has improved so much. Too bad he like 295k atm at least on PS3
 
By far not my most creative or best team, but overall my most fun team to play with and I am tearing people up with them

TOTS Donovan is so shit. I was so hyped when I saw his stats and price, but he only saw like 5 games before I gave up on him and the rest of the team.
 
That american squad looks way cool, I've wanted to try TOTS Donovon. Your current squad looks fun, I had a Russian League team for a bit and loved Eto and Traore, up front they were unstopable! Traore is such a savage.

So I bought Ibra, didn't enjoy him as much as I should for 400k so I sold him and am way happier haha, managed to get a couple TOTS and a bunch of In Forms.

Well you just shit on me haha, holy hell. Sakho is awesome, super quick and always seems to be in the right position. I trust him more than N'Koulou. I personally loved Mandanda, alot of people on futhead seem to hate him but he was amazing with his non-if so after giving this a go he is spectacular. Definitely worth the price IMO.
 
Meh not really, the outside backs TOTS felt the exact same to me as their NIF's. Ibra might go soon if he doesn't get it together. He started off like 15goals in 10 games, but now I probably haven't scored in at least 5 straight with him.I had NIF Mandanda as well, but when he let in a freekick from Ronaldo that was honestly at least 40-45 yards out his time was done. Might give him a go again though
 
It's starting to get old at this point of it's life. Although I've been playing Career Mode for the past 3 or 4 months. Have found it much more interesting buying and selling players on there.
 
Honestly the game is so fucked. I quit for a while, made a new account and transferred over some teams. What do you know just like usual I whip ass for a while and then everything goes to shit.Sold my Ibra team because it was just ridiculous how hard it was to score. Ibra dribbled like a center back, my defense lost every header to everyone.

Built this. Might go for TOTS/TOTY Falcao if I like the NIF. Yes 7 chems, who gives a fuck.

What to do with a million coins? Maybe TOTS RVP and TOTS Mandzu if I decide no on Falcao? Both already have teams to be in.
 
I'm over with purely winning. I have a Eredivisie/Dutch silver side that I can pretty much beat anyone with if I choose to play as cunty as possible. I want something that has some skills, longshots, and no offense, but originality as well.

To the person asking about coins, I got mine from trading. Admittedly, I spent way too much of my time on this game and will probably not play it as seriously as I did ever again. This is embarrassing to admit, but it took up a good amount of time of my life. I would trade at school in class, trade at home for an hour, and then play for an hour. I did get some stuff in packs, but not nearly as much as I spent on them.
 
Of course winning is awesome, but I don't want to just lob the ball over and get sweaty goals to secure a win because to me that's just not fun anymore.
 
Anybody else think that there's not much of a difference between the World Class and Legendary difficulties? I'm getting very similar score lines on both.
 
Not sure if anyone else is playing again, but I am getting thrashed this year at least on UT. I honestly think I conced 80-90% of my goals.from headers. AI defender just goes full retard when crosses are played in. Also os it just me or is dribbling/skilling way less effective/harder now? Will post my teams in a bit.
 
I THINK what they tried to do was make it so that the higher ranked (but slower) defenders were more desirable. In previous UT's a lot of the best defenders in the world blew because they were pretty useless due to their speed. So instead of equaling up the speeds a little bit, they decided to make first touches shitty as balls and make headers the king of the game. That way, the higher ranked defenders were actually worth the ranking. Instead of making the game more realistic though, it made it to where I can be running a clean break with Aubemeyang and get caught from 10m back by Hummels due to shitty touches. Same deal with dribbling, instead of coming up with a system to make defending it more effective (with skill), they just made the dribbling a joke. I honestly can't stand the way they did it but now am shaping my entire team into heading oriented.

In addition, I am also still noticing quite a significant handicapping type system in place. For me at least, it is pretty obvious within the first game or two of a season whether I am going to get a title or get relegated. One season I will go 7-0 for a title with every game feeling like I can do whatever I want and still get a goal, whereas the next season I will go 1-6 with every pass being way off and my keeper parrying every ball straight to an opponents waiting feet. It's obviously not the competition as it is happening in the same division every time, so I don't know how else to explain it. On the positive side, it does seem like they did away with the whole end of the game shananigan handicap that was in the last one where if the other team was on a comeback almost anything would go in.

and holy shit just realized I wrote half a paper on ultimate team while I have an essay due tomorrow that I am dreading writing and putting off. This is pathetic.
