I'm in the same boat. I'm done with them and playing FUT games until I have a decent amount of coins for big name players that'll actually win me games. Tired of getting destroyed by people with IF Ronaldos and nutty Premiere League teams. Only going to trade in FUT and then go out and play regular seasons/career for now.

Just be persistent in trading. It takes time to get a hold of it. And always remember profit is profit. 5k a day for a month is 150k on top of coins from games.

Anyone have a sick squad with Quintero in it? Been going mad lately. Made 4 silver squads in 2 days lol

and Chunter its like what Fun_dip said its all about persistance. And making 5k a day is like 10-20 mins of trading so give it an hour or two and you will easily be making 100k a week (it all depends on how efficient you are). You just have to be committed to it and know that by spending lots of time playing the game you're saving money in the long run.

YOUNG QUINTON'S FUT TRADING TIPS







Get organized: You want to maximize your time because, well, nobody wants to spend all day on FIFA

1. Find a time where you can do a solid amount of trading. Personally i can only take an hour of trading a day so having a morning free period during school is perfect



2. MAKE A SPREADSHEET with a list of players that are between 1,000 - 10,000 buy it now - i have used this method and it is incredibly efficient (although it does take some time to make it). Heres what it should look like so i don't have to go into the details of what it should include:

3. Lastly know the correct times to trade: in each region the worst times to trade are in the late afternoon to midnight (this is the most common for players and the market is way more competitive). However you can use this to your advantage because prices are low in the morning and go up by the afternoon. The thing to consider is that there is more than one region so the best times to trade are before 1pm (EST) and not until after 12 (pm). This is when the British kids get online after school and not until the American kids get offline at night.

Trading: there are many methods but this is the one i prefer the most (buying a lot of players for a small profit)

1. Shoot for a 500 coin profit (obviously you need to account for the 5% ea tax so you don't lost money). It is low enough that you will not get outbid by other traders yet still a reasonable profit. If you are efficient enough over the course of an hour you should have bought enough players to make about 20,000 coins



2. Be sure to manually check the BIN (buy it now) of each player you're about to trade with and enter it in the spreadsheet. Sometimes sites like Futhead or The Ultimate Database are not 100% accurate because they calculate averages



3. Finally only trade in the 4-1-2-1-2 formation. Easily the most common and therefore you will have the best luck buying and selling because there is such a demand for them

On a final note: DO NOT GIVE INTO THE PRESSURE OF BUYING PACKS. Sitting with lots of coins in your account can be tempting but remember:Those are your hard earned coins that EA is tricking you into spending!

Hell yeah, thanks guys! I mainly do formation card trading at the moment, but am gonna start messing around with player trading. When the current team of the week came out with IF Ronaldo, I was getting 4-back cards for 150-300 and selling them at 1100 bin but when the TOTW is shitty it doesn't work as well.
 
Honestly I'm not about to spend a lot of time making money off of trades. Guess I'll just stop buying packs and enjoy playing games and if the players come they come. I've got an alright brazil team that doesn't have any trouble beating some of the monster teams so I guess I'm not in too big of a rush to get my premier team completely set up so I'll just chill with my brazil team till I get lucky
 
honestly i make enough money by making teams winning then selling them off. I started this fifa with 2k (from my free packs) built it up to 8 through trading. Then bought a korean team, sold it for 20 and then i was set for life. Now i have a german team worth 70~100 plus 60k.
 
Yep, I hate trading as well, but I just keep making new teams I want to build so I'd never really had more than 100k until I sold off one of my teams. I still make probably 10-20k a day from trading for like half an hour of free time and about another half hour in Physics. Just watch list tons of shit and bid from there is how I do it so you cant miss anything.
 
yea i have fun trading so its something i do pretty often. Its also fun to not have to really worry about coins and i can try out just about any (non-inform) player i want excluding ronaldo and messi (yet!)
 
Making too many teams is my downfall hahaha. I try and save then come across a couple players I must build around.

I'm dreaming of Ribery/Robben for my Bundesliga team and Ibra/Silva for my Ligue 1 team but I've got a long road ahead of me haha.
 
Lewandowski is going to be inform, calling it. Unbelievable today! That will be a card I want to get. Building another German squad here soon.
 
gonna be damned expensive. His IF before the crash was like 200k and with the BVB hype train growing exponentially every day I'd guess he'll be well over 300k

haha it could be less, but on PS3 it was that with his IF. And I can only imagine a MOTM that's out for 24hrs will be even more. Sorry for the bad news, but good shit gets ridiculously expensive unfortuantely.
 
Look for some MOTM Reus' on the store and see what he's going for nowadays. He got his MOTM a couple weeks ago and the price changes he went through should be similar to what will happen with Lewandoski, he might even wind up being cheaper than Reus if you wait but at the moment all Dortmund players are gonna be through the roof.
 
I can now almost 100% guarentee what I was talking about earlier with handicaps when you are going for titles. I had 3 games to win the title all that I needed was 1 win in the three. All three games went like this.

such bullshit. And most of my shots were open shots that just squeezed wide. It was obvious bullshit
 
see thats what I thought too every other time this has happened, but the shot disparity was absolutely ridiculous in the games. I was getting wide open shots consistently with them making every shot that was decent. The first game I would say at least 90% of the game was in his end, along with the possesion. Had wide open goals that my players would fumble on, I honestly wish I would have filmed it because it was getting hilarious.
 
I 100% think there's scripting/handicap. Scripting can not even be argued the amount of absurd mistakes and incredible plays in the 90th minute can not be denied. Handicap I think exists, it can be overcome and often is exagerrated, but even when I use a low rated gold team/silver team you can feel that there are passes/shots your players should not be making especially with who they have in goal or on defense. Just my opinion
 
Now is the time to buy since people are going mad opening packs for the TOTS players. I picked up some TOTS consistent players. Now to build around them.
 
Yea go to online modes. Then custom game, and you'll get matched with a random and you both pick whatever team you want. Mostly people will be dicks and take it way too serious, but that's just video games for ya
 
I'd say buy tomorrow or the next time there is happy hour. Prices are hardly dropping now. You could make back what.you lose just by playing now I think.
 
Anyone know how/if the free-kick system that was in FIFA 12 still works in 13? I can get it to work occasionally but other times it doesn't work... You were able to "lock-in" where you were aiming you kick by pressing LB, LT and X on xbox then using the analog to put spin on the ball in 12, is it the same in 13 and I just suck at it?
 
you dont need to press any shoulder buttons unless you are doing the driven free kick, just move the wall to where you think is good press b ( Circle on ps3) and point the stick where you want it to go
 
L1 + Shoot. Freekicks are so easy in 13 there is not much of a need to use any other methods. If you are in the right spot, hold the left stick up while aiming where you want the ball to go and shoot. Then it should go over the wall and dip before the keeper.

 
For the most part it is settled but depending on what TOTS keep coming out, those certain players, (and possibly leagues) will continue to fall in price. Once there are no more TOTS being released, then player prices will stabilize for good. Consumables like formation, fitness and morale cards are only going to rise and by the end of TOTS should explode in price as people stop opening packs for good.
 
That's about where I am too, I'm trying to nab him for my Ligue 1 team. What squad are you putting him in? Hopefully he'll get a TOTS and go down so I can afford Silva also.
 
Holy hell you win. I made this team super cheap before the market crash after I sold off all my others and it is so damn fun I might as well build on it. This is with my projected spot of Ibrah unless I decide to change the formation/team up a bit. Its a little pace-whore-ish but oh well haha. Menez scores literally every game for me, I love playing with him.

The IF's in the team I got for just above discard. The hopeful team will requeire me to trade/play a lot more so it might not happen. CM? Are you sure you would want him there? He has low defensive workrates as does Pastore.

FIFA is almost all about pace, it sucks, but its true.
 
I just threw Pastore up there to make the team look a little better. The best option in that formation would have both Sissoko's on either side and then Ibrah in the middle and not have to worry too much about defending but I might end up changing the formation to like a 4-4-2 or maybe even 3-5-2. I can't say enough about the Ligue 1 defenders though; Sahko, N'Koulou, Mariano, Bedimo, and Abdennour are all amazing. Pacey enough to keep up with most everybody and make crucial tackles no problem. You should def try them out.

I made a pretty expensive Premiere League team in a 4-1-2-1-2 with Van Persie, Aguero, Toure, Kompany, etc and hated it. Maybe it was the formation, I chose it mainly because it seems to be super popular but I lost almost every game and couldn't even move the ball around. Sold it right after and then started saving to where I am now.
 
^I have a pretty expensive BPL just like that and I love it.Anyways just bought Ibra, built with some cheap player around him for now.
 
BPL has been great for me. I cant decide if I like Ibrahimovic or not. Hes awesome, but I feel like people see him and decide they should play extra cunty.
 
Yeah i know, but i wanted to try out Benitez. the team is actually pretty damn good. all of my goals are pretty much scored by Benitez or Quintero and they work together really good. The outside CAMs really dont do shit either,
