i only play with 99 chem, i understand how to make a team i just need some new ideas tired of playing brazilian and barclays team
 
so if i get scored on in the first 5 mins i should quit, and i shouldn't score in the first 5 mins. makes sense.

this seriously angers me
 
Currently what my BPL team looks like. Really would like to get some better Midfielders but, it is a pretty solid team right now. Played a game against my friend with, he had a similarly ranked LIGA BBVA team. Really close game. He scored early after the break. Then I used some 90th minute hacks to send us to overtime. I was able to score in the second leg of overtime to seal a 2-1 victory.

get adel tarabt at cam and fellani as cdm, also dembelee is a good cam, i just sold by barclays team in that formation, they were really good for me
 
Do you have Arteta on the bench always or are you just rotating him out? Also how'd you get IF Coccoloni(sp?)
 
Yeah, I always have him on the bench. I don't really need a CM and he is in a bad formation. I got Coloccini in a pack yesterday. Pretty lucky. First in form I've ever gotten from a pack.

Any suggestions on players? I'm slowly building each side up.
 
Sell Coloccini. Use the coins to build up your team. Hell of a pick up with Cazorla, I just picked him up as well and he's been balling it up distributing, even has a hell of a shot. Maybe put in Vermaelen for Coloccini. Upgrade your outside backs, I had Jose Enrique and Glenn Johnson at one point and they both did well cutting off crosses. Also work towards, Tiote and Fellaini at CDM. I have both and they are also great. Avoid Sessegnon, I had him on my team, he looks badass on his card and his stats are good, but he just sucked imo. Also most of this depends on how much coinage you make. Plus I'd say focus on fixing up one team and them get the other later.

PACE PACE PACE! Your slowest player is Fellaini.

Just picked up Fellaini. He is pretty pricy. Better be right about him being good lol
 
Hahaha I know, but a pacey defense is a must in my opinion. Also, picked up Valencia and Gervinho for nothing. Djibrijil Cisse is probably one of the best values in the game for someone looking to pick up a cheap striker. And my boy Welbeck is on my team cause I love him. homo

Also, when you have corners try to target Fellaini, Ive been able to get two solid headers with him, both were goals. He has scored a couple shots from outside the 18 as well for me. If he's not back on defense change to him and sprint his ass back while defensive AI delays the attack. he' quite strong so he will generally push the oppponent off the ball with ease.
 
great game. never play online, just 1 vs 1, 2 vs CPU and 2 vs 2, funny shit.

like here in europe, soccer is so mainstream. even if a person has 0 interest in it, he knows a few players and there is this whole connection to the players/teams because you really see them a lot and its funny when this guy scores or the other guy gets sent off because you know the history.

definitely a fun game to play in groups. have a few beers besides and you probably wont stop playing for quite a time
 
grab kyle walker at rb, 91 pac and 77 defending, he is faster than most wingers in the game and really closes down the wings as an attack option. Also as a wingback he can get up field and has a surprisingly good shot + great crossing
 
His stats look good, but he happens to be one of the players I would never have on my team since I dont like him. Anyone have advice on strikers? Thinking of going after a Balotelli, maybe a Tevez.
 
I thought about Hernandez, but hes weak. I think Im going twithBalotelli after I make little more money
 
when i had enough for balotelli i was like shit thats 40k i mite as well make a better team because no one in my opinion is worth more than 30k
 
I hear ya. I am so reluctant to give upthat kind of coin fojr a player. i currently have a little over 150k so im gonna wait until i make abit more so i can still have coins to buy players to flip.
 
Occasionally yes, but sometimes they are wizards. What pisses me off is when AI will not make a through run even if you hold the ball for 10 seconds waiting for it..
 
this! and the only other dumb thing is on a 2 on two breakaway sometimes one center back runs away from his man leaving his man open through on goal, its very frustrating but only happens occaisonally.
 
Anyone played single player UT? Played seasons I'm in D4 since I never play, but holy shit I was impressed. I should have won, but got a draw. There were a couple time where AI got like 15 pass sequences and had me one heels. Also, very disciplined on defense.
 
idk what it is but i really struggle against the ai, im in div 1 so im not bad, but i always tie againts anything higher than pro for the ai
 
Surprisingly no, haha. Schmeltzer has pretty good pace on the left flank so he can get up in the attack pretty well too. Badstuber and Hummels both have like 65-70 pace, so I was worried about both of them, but they can actually keep up with a bunch of speedy forwards. Overall, super satisfied with my team
 
sounds good.. also any plans to bring reus in eventually? he seems to be the player everyone is raving over this year
 
He is fast as F, but I think he is kindof overpriced for what he brings to the table. Who knows though.. I might!
 
I'm liking everyone's team. That German one is nice. Aside from the fact that they are probably crazy good at heading. I can't tell you how many people I've played against on Ultimate Team who just use pace. Here's my team, clearly I get raped by the pace people because I just can't keep up.

^serious question, how do you win any games if you get raped by pace? Every team I play is pace. Yesterday I got matched up with a non rare silver team with two noname golds and I thought oh this guy doesnt know whats coming I'm gonna smash him. Little did I know his whole team must be 85+ pace. I tried to abuse with Valencia and got caught every time

My current team. I had a Liga Portuguesa team from D4-D1 - really solid squad for roughly 10k. I'm not sure how I feel about this team yet. D1 is pretty tough but I don't think I'll get relegated. As you can see I have 22k left over as well as a David Luiz in my trade pile. Any recommendations for changes?
 
I'd recommend to invest your coins, but if you really want to upgrade your team, I'd say Fellaini CDM for Parker. Maybe add some depth to your team so you can rotate and not need fitness cards
 
You can't really. Unless the player is really bad. This is why this happens. EA tries to fix the pace by making the players fight... just fix the defending AI's brains and we have a non pace abusing game. They can't seem to realize this though.

Kind of a fun Brazilian / Russian League Hybrid team. I have 2 pace demons up front. I seem to play well even without abusing pace.

I agree. I've given up fr too many goals because my defender fucking ran into each other and both died.

I know it's messy right now, but i'm rebuilding it, which is why the chemistry/positions are all over the place. I plan on selling Fellaini & Villa and picking up xabi + some cheap and decent striker. I warn you, do not get villa, he was such a waste of money; his touches are horrendous. With that said, if anyone wants to trade for him or Fellaini, let me know.
