Official Fantasy Freeride thread.

Well...after Dew Tour I was 14th in the world, but fell to 59th after Grand Prix...I dropped Wallisch the day before Grand Prix (thank goodness), but stuck with Gus Kenworthy, who has gotten minimal points since his silver in big air at Dew. Anyone else have Gus and considering dropping him?
 
Definitely, I also dropped wallisch or Grand Prix but decided to give him a shot for x games instead of David wise which sucked
 
How bad did Russ hurt himself? Is he going to be back and full health for the Olympic Test Event? I want to know if I should drop him to make space for more pipe skiers for Grand Prix Park City...
 
I dropped Gus and Kai, and I now have $62,000 to spend on more pipe riders. Possibly more if I end up dropping Russ. I'm going to hang on to Henrik, Goepper, and Kaya for slope, and I already have Bowman, Sigourney, Wise, and Krief for pipe.
 
Same, except for Henrik. I thinking I'm going to have a big jump in rank after this comp.
 
I fucked up bad, didnt change anything, god damnit. Ive still got like 4 in the finals but shit i couldve easily had double that
 
what the point in keeping henrik? that's one more pipe skier you could get points with then just buy henrik back for the same price you sold him for when this comp's over.
 
Yea idk. This is my 1st year and I'm just catching on to how it all works. That was stupid for me to keep him.
 
Same deal for me. I haven't really figured out all the strategies for this yet. Whatever; there's always next year!
 
Consistently been moving up! Started out around 800, got down to 500, now I'm 165!! Stoked on my first year doing it.
 
blahh... got drunk while picking my riders had enough for two more skiers dropped from 1st to 2nd... o well

depending on whether you follow fantasy freeride on twitter or not you might have seen about the sochi test event. due to an error by the team running it THE TEST EVENT WILL NOT COUNT. as trading did not close and so people were able to change their teams during the event. changes have been made to stop this happening again. for the full storyhttp://fantasyfreeride.com/index.php?section=news&news_id=9 personally im quite happy about this as ive not changed my team up for a while.
 
It's 3:30am on March 5, and trading on Fantasy Freeride still hasn't closed. It was supposed to close on March 4. Woops... What's gonna happen now? Another sad puppy announcement?
 
Anyone else get royally fucked in Slope? Had Harlaut, Andreas, Woods, Goepper and Wallisch. Here's hoping my pipe guys at least make finals!!! geez.

 
I got decently boned but I only had tom woods and goepper for slope, lots of women and pipe dudes to save my ass haha
 
Yeah I had Tom Gus and Goepp, did pretty well considering. Now that Lisa isn't competing I should do really well in women's slope, and women's pipe has been the easiest thing to predict
 
What disciplines are in The Dumont Cup? Is it just men's slopestyle? The Fantasy Freeride site still hasn't put up the disciplines yet. :(
 
I assume as much. That's how the event has been in the past. No idea who's going to be competing though.
 
wow i'm getting old, only recognize half of the names out of 20 on that site.

last time I did this Tanner Hall and Jon Olsson were each $100k i think.
