oh god, i honestly feel sorry for you.

obama's support of "microstamping ammunition" sounds like it would help solve crime. instead its sneaky and would raise the cost of ammunition by an estimated 500%. effectively making it too expensive to purchase ammunition.

obama supported a ban to close all gun stores within 5 miles of a park or school....sounds like it would protect children. instead its sneaky and effectively closes 90+% of gun stores in america. take a map of your city and draw a 5 mile perimeter around ALL parks and schools, then tell me how much land is left. (in the same state senate session he DID NOT support a ban to close all porn stores within 5 miles of a park or school)

im sure you also noticed how crime decreased during clinton's AWB and increased after the bill sunsetted. oh wait, so-called "assault weapons" are used in less than 1% of crime according to the FBI. and the AWB focused on cosmetic features. once again, sounded all fancy, did absofuckinglutely nothing.

a 50-caliber rifle has NEVER ONCE been used in a crime in the United States. sound don't give me bullshit about bigbore ammunition either.

With the democratic core west states, i.e. california etc. offering over 75 votes yet to come. I can now definately say, America has its first Black President. Pretty Cool. Glad i stayed up, how ever now, good night.

so i'm watching all of this, and i'm pretty much telling my homework to fuck off. i'm not being a whiney college student, but this is a lot more important to me and historical than the fact that i'm going to fail my biology test tomorrow.

i'm nooooot saying that the world has to stop over this, but i don't get why i can't get a little lee-way.

when i'm 80 i'm gonna tell my grandkids about this, i won't tell them that i sucked in all my classes, but i saw something that had never been done before.

what kind of secret information does CNN possess?

for wisconsin, it says obama over mccain 51% to 48%, and so gives the state to obama. but only 11% of precincts reporting?

and for west virgina, it says mccain over obama 55% to 44%, and so gives the state to mccain. but only 44% of precincts reporting. this is a little more believable, but how do they know the other 56% of precincts won't all go obama, and sway those electoral votes over to obama? i swear they're making shit up.
 
nah, i want obama to win every "swing" state...that it allows him to do wahtever the fuck he wants when he gets to office, and tells the senators/reps to vote with him

I think this is the third time I've had to explain this in this thread. It's not how much of the vote is in... it's where the vote that's in is from. If you have Obama winning by a small margin areas that McCain should be winning by 6-7 points, you know that Obama is going to win the state, because when pro-democratic areas come in they're going to go heavily for him. It's precincts plus exit polls that allow these guys to call races. For example, Miami Dade is currently 60-40 Obama. It was 55-45 for Gore and Kerry over Bush. That extra 5% is enough to flip the state, and combined with all the other info they're getting out of that state regionally, they should be able to call it pretty soon.
 
Well you got me there. Your party did a VERY shitty job though, especially by discrediting all their sites by making them as reputable looking as a 3rd grader's.

Either way though, we are the only "developed" nation with low gun control standards, and countries with more control aren't falling apart.

Gun control is a non-issue in my opinion. It's highly publicized and debated, but means little to the majority.
 
mccain has always put his country first, Im not sure that obama has done the same. Obama is obviously going to win. Congratulations to him and I hope that he can actually bring the change he has talked about.

i voted mccain and the only thing that could go right for obama is picking biden as vp cuz he is a economy genious (sp) but other than that middle class is fucked

alright, so i just saw 63% Obama 38% McCain with 0% of precincts reporting, can we wait till at least 50% to start reporting
