This is the thread in which to talk about election stuff for the day. In order to keep clutter to a minimum we're going to keep it all in one thread; any other threads pertaining to the election will be deleted, so don't bother making another one, just post it in here!

it was pouring rain this morning. resulting in much fewer idiots standing on the corner with their signs.

if you want real change, then i ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the

gates of parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of november that shall never, ever be forgot.

i'm so stoked to see what the outcome is hopefully its not like the last election where we had to wait for fucking ever to find out who actually won the presidency

i don't know about anyone else but hoping for a President Obama.... don't hate if you're for McCain everyone is entitled to their opinion

about time someone finally says someone about this election that makes sense.

but i already voted (absentee) and i had trouble voting for either candidate

first off, thanks (check the sarcasm) JD i was actually having a good debate in 2 of the other threads.

remember remember the 5th of November.

i cant WAIT for SARAH PAILIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to be in the white house

NOT. even karl rove is predicting a wide margin of victory for my man barrack

So, i've been sick with the flu for like 3 days now, after drugging myself up on all sorts of things i found in my medicine cabinet, I had the weirdest fucking dream. Obama was disqualified, due to some rally by the Gay people in america, Biden and Clinton were no where to be found, so the next person in line was The Governator... He won the election, then was disqualified because he wasn't u.s. born. and McCain won.

Pretty weird...

If John McCain wins today, please, I beg of you, I urge all of America to come together as a nation and do everything you possibly can to keep this man alive.

There were 15 threads on the first page with "election" or "vote" in the title. That's even worse than the X Games. Feel free to continue whatever the election related discussion was in here, or if it was super off topic, start a new thread on the same non-election topic. But it'll get way out of control if we let that stuff go today.

The age difference between Obama and McCain:

Obama's grandma died (two days ago I think)

McCain is old enough to be a grandpa

I do not believe it is smart to pull out of Iraq asap...even though i do not fully agree with why we are there in the first place it does not make any sense to withdraw before we finish the job completly. It would make us look weak and enhance enemy confidence.

I also think it is smart to try and work out of this financial crisis by freezing federal spending and creating a branch to watch over large banks; as opposed to spending millions more.

Finaly i do not think a national health-care plan is necessary. the tax to pay for it would destroy many of our nations small businesses.

Those are the reasons I'd vote McCain

its impossible!

i think if palin ever had to step in, she would be impeached weeks later. oh wait, if i'm correct the last idiot to hold presidency lasted 8 years. damn...

i voted for obama!!! hell yah! and can someone give me a list of all he restarants and stuff giving out free shit today???? either PM me or post in here. I WANT FREE SHIT!!

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart live tonight...gonna be hilarious. im dreaming of a white christmas cough mccain cough

house and senate seats are just as important as the presidential election!! you should really go vote

great attitude. pause. not.

so after tomorrow, you cant bitch about what went on since you didnt take 5 mins out of your day to vote.

Palin has more qualification, even in the VP spot, than Barry has as the front runner of the jackass party.

She actually has 2 years in a EXECUTIVE office...meaning she had to make legitimate choices, not vote "present" on what....90% of the senate issues when Obama actually bothered to show up for session.

Obama is a joke.

The only person that scares me as much as him in a position of national power is Nancy Pelosi. And possibly Hillary.
