Official Dew Tour Pipe: Skiing was better than Snowboarding

Just finished watching the snowboarding pipe and watched ski pipe last night and skiing was a lot better. Snowboard pipe seemed like they were throwing the same thing and all of the runs looked the same. They all throw back to back tens and don't go as big. The skiers all had pretty much very different runs and went much bigger. This is my opinion but i even had my snowboarder friends tell me that skiers look better in the pipe

I dont really like pipe at all anyway, I'd rather watch slopestyle

i would assume that skiing is alot easierin pipe cuz you feet are free and you have more control of how you land

i agree.. skiing is ten times more fun to watch then snowboarding in the pipe

I saw both of them at breck yesterday and skiing was so much better. I'm not just saying this b/c I ski but it really was. And I also have had my boarding friends tell me that skiing pipe is better

Skiing pipe is usually better than snowboarding pipe. That kind of goes without saying. I don't like to compare the two because blah, blah, they're different sports but skiers do go much bigger and usually have one more hit in a run too.

Anyone notice that on the Women snowboarding side they went way harder in the pipe than in slopestyle?

Skiing was better in Slopestyle too. There were no sick rail tricks on the snowboard side at all and it was just a contest to see who could throw more/better 10's. Skiing had sick rail tricks although I would have liked to see more creativity, not just spin on/off. Skiing creativity on the jumps was off the chain, misties, rodeos and dubs.

I agree, but there are some legit reasons for this

1-Skis are faster = more speed = able to go bigger

2-Comps seem to be a lot more popular for the better skiers, Most of the best snowboarders avoid comps and spend time filming for whatever reason.

well thats only two reasons, but whatever, i still agree the skiing was much more entertaining.
