Official Dew Tour at Tahoe Discussion

Judging a comp is almost as difficult as putting together, and stomping a clean run... and its never going to be perfect! Some will score too high, and some will score too low, and this will never change. The athletes do their best, the judges do theirs, and, well, thats all you can ultimately ask!
What Wallisch did was stomp the cleanest run of the day, with authority, and the judges rewarded him for it.
Props to him for laying it down in his FIRST big slopestyle comp opportunity of the year. Maybe next year they'll let him into the rest of the Dew Tour stops, and X...

Don't get me wrong, tom deserved the win, but it still wasn't judged right, I probably would have scored it with those top 3, it was just sparatic, and the only real problem imo was pk's run. Back to back 12s, and he didn't miss a grab, He should have been 4th.

PK's back to back 12's were great no doubt. But he faultered on his rail section (which even he acknowledged). Had he put down on his second run the rail section he did on his first run, then yeah, he would have been there in 4th. you know, you have to put down on the whole course as many of those ahead of him did.

wallisch did 2 and didnt grab his rightside fakie ten.

I dont think there should be much discution about where everyone placed since the rusn were just TOO tight as far as overall quality to make a clear choice.

Wallisch had a balssy and smooth rail section and got some nice stuff done on jumps.

that's stupid to say something like that when his grabs are done so high they are practically on the tip and are with sw 12 ad 12

its not stupid at all, the dude only does mute grabs,it is by far the easiest grab to do and i really dont care if he does an high mute on it or not, its still a mute grab. i would never let a guy who does 3 mute grabs in the same run make it on the podium.

candide only does tail grabs, guess he shouldve never podiumed either, oh and come to think of it in big air jon olsson only does safetys anymore, yep guess he sucks too~

Shut the fuck up. I don't even like mute grabs, but his are clean and styled. He could have 50 50ed the top boxes, straight aired the first jump and went double cork 12 to switch double cork 12 and should have won. Judging was pretty fucked. Godbout and Simon were way over scored. PK, Jossi and Bobby Brown were all underscored.
And what the fuck is with flat boxes in the last 2 stops? I would almost rather see a roller.
