*OFFICIAL* Convince Tanner to Compete in X-Games Park Thread

Tanner some people may not have been happy with last years SP win but you gotta get the gold in Pipe, then Park that would be badass
 
would be sooooo sick, after seeing those nz edits, I would love to see tanner through down in slopestyle
 
ummm, i'm gonna be a debbie downer, i don't really like tanner, i'd kinda rather he not compete in any events.......yeah.......this is awkward

Tanner announced last night at the Red Bull VIP Massive party that he would be returning to the competition seen this year, this includes slopestyle and big air competitions as well as pipe.
 
Tanner your turning people to the sport like crazy. would love to see you compete and most probably destroy the whole field in both park and pipe..
 
It would definately be sick to see him competing in slope again. If I'm not mistaken one of the main reasons he stoped was cause to be training slope heavily would be too hard on his ankles though. I guess it's been a few years so they might be getting better I wouldn't really know how that kinda injury heals.

If there's anyone in the industry who could win the biggest slopestyle event of the year after not competing for 4 years or whatever it's been now it's tanner
 
hell yea Tanner, go for it. The only thing better than winning a pipe gold medal is slope and pipe gold medals!

Hopefully drew speaks the truth, anyone else confirm?
 
Tanner you've got so much talent in park that it would be a waste not to use. I love what you do in the BC. That is so sick. Keep it up. But it would be so stellar if you did slopestyle and learned doubles like the Kangaroo flip and did JOSS. There's no doubt in my mind if you trained hard enough you could win pipe, slope, and JOSS.
 
I come to you, Newschoolers, as the bearer of good news. I was speaking with Tanner personally tonight (he was at the dome sale in Rochester), and he informed me that he will be competing in halfpipe, slopestyle AND big air at the X-Games. Don't believe me? Wait and find out for yourself.
 
Dude if this is actually true it means that maybe this thread actually worked!!! Me FTW!!! haha jk....he probably just decided on his own that he wanted to do it b/c he knows hes sick.
