I'll probably be there sat. If anyone wants in on the 79$ pass then be at Cascades customer service area between 9 - 9:30am on saturday and ask around for people to group up with.
Cascades is pretty good with the park stuff so they will most deffinitaly have something setup.
The $79 pass is only good on weekdays and nights. So not weekends before 3pm.
From the site: "Valid from 10am to 10pm, Monday to Friday AND from 3pm to 10pm, on Saturdays and Sundays, all season long."

Cascades is looking good! The setup is as follows. First comes a 6 foot flat bar hop on style. Then we have a cool looking feature that is hard to describe. It is a flat down butter box/dance floor with a flat box directly parallel to the flat part on the right side and a downbar on the left of the down part. Finally there is a 16-18 foot down-ish box.
The snow was good up there and there were almost no lines. I recomend checking it out!
I've skied there since i was like 4, Of all the times i've skied there, they have never asked to see my pass, even when it was completely hidden. So yah, they rarely check.
When I was up last saturday I never got a ticket. We rode from 9 to 3 mostly hiking but we rode the chair at leat 5-6 times without geting checked. The only time they checked was at 3 but luckely my night pass had just kicked in HAHA!
super short flat rail, weird down flat bitter box thing with rails on the side (weird feature, kinda fun though) and a super mellow down box (really fun to sesh) sorry for the double post, fuckin phone
Setup is still the same. They are working hard on the run that will hold the upper park. My guess is that they should have something new setup by friday at the latest.
my exams finally ended so i am going skiing for the first time at a hill tomorrow. is anyone going up to cascade tomorrow? if anyone is there feel free to give me some pointers because i just switched to skiing and have only been on skis a dozen times haha
They still have the flat rail, flat to down butter pad with the box and rail on the sides, and the down box. They were making a ton of snow on all of the runs including the park run so hopefully they will have a legit park soon.
Park is good. First two features are a 20 ft downbox and a 30 ft down tube. Both are super fun. After the two features you have a useless tire tap thing.
After the tire tap comes a 15-20 ft downrail. This thing could be really fun but it was sticky today.
Last two features are a flat butter box and a ride on down box. Both have pretty bad landings.
The big park is looking awesome.
From what I can tell the top part will have two lines.
First will be the huge up down box followed by a cool looking log cannon type thing. Second line will be two down rails (single barrel and wide bar) which brings you into a BIG step down.
The next feature is a nice looking step over. The jump will be followed by a plethora of rails and boxes including a plexi-glass spine. I can only guess the rest but the second jump looks cool and there might be a hip at the bottom.
Pretty sure i'll be up tommorow (sunday). Do they have two jumps (the step up and one with three different takeoffs, or four jumps (step up, and a three jump line)?
Park is so sick! Rails are all really nice. I was having trouble getting enough speed to clear any of the jumps but other than that everything is super good. Also whats up with plexiglas glass spine?, that thing is super sketch.
