Post updates and if youve heard anything about how to park is going to be this year.

I hope the jumps are better than last year.

So, cascades is apparently open for night skiing, well according to their fb. I'll prob be up thursday night. Anyone know what they have setup park wise, or if they even have jibs?

Uhm they have that metal tube thing setup flat, a badly setup butter box and some sort of box contraption.. Oh, and it's icy as fuck.

I was up tonight, set up from the top goes like this...

-Down tube OR Down Box ( I think the box is cracked or something though, it was out of order today)

-Two level box (Left side is a higher flat box, right side is a lower butter box)

-Flat rail with no lip to get on

-Down rail

-Hip with slanted box on top

I might be going up wednesday, what will you be wearing?

Also I snuck through the big park today to see what they have in store for the season and I have to say its looking pretty good. They have two kickers that are all shaped out, just need to be groomed. The have a canon box, weird spine transfer with these two plexi glass quarter pipes, donkey dick rail, down rail, a hip shaped out that looks like its going to have a box on top.

Thats all I can remember for now, looks like it should be ready really soon. Dare I say next week?

Sounds decent enough. Ill be in a white jacket and blue pants. and up this wednesday and next till around 9.

Big park should be open by the weekend.

A little worried with speed for the jumps. The whole park is ungroomed, un skiable crud, but the park crew groomed the inrun and landing to just one of the jumps. I basically bombed the whole in run and still cased the shit out of the jump...and this is the smaller of the two.

From top to bottom....if i recall correctly

Down tube OR down box

Butter box

Flat rail

Down tube rail

DFD OR Canon box

Weird Jump thing with flat box on the side

First kicker (id say 15 feet from lip to landing) In order to get speed for this kicker you must straight line it from the lip of the DFD

Plexi glass quarter pipe spine transfer thing OR down rail

Down flat rail OR Flat box

Large kicker OR small kicker (15 feet from lip to landing) OR up rail to wall ride landing (pretty dope actually)

Hip transfer (Doesnt look completely set up)

Hip transer...sorta ( you can transfer it like a hip but theres a biiig tube up top to jib aswell)

Thats it for now, im hoping they add some features at the end of the run going under the chair.

im too stoked for this!! i usually shred camp but i switched to cascades this year and i havent seen there pay park yet, but if its anything like that should be some good times :D

I think its because monday isnt a generally buisy night so they want to attract buisness. I feel like if they did it saturday that alot of the people that went would have been there regardless.

But I wish it was on saturday or friday instead.

Why would you have skiclub on a tuesday? And is anyone going next friday? Friday the 17th, that is.

Who was all up on nuite blanch? The park was full of skiers so there has to be atleast a couple nsers out of them.

full park is scheduled to open tomorrow friday jan 11th. But some super secret sources informed me it may be rideable for a select few tonight. It looked purrty when i was there yesterday with a new small jump put in at the way out of the park...so hold your speed after there one good jump and theres another! It looks like another small step up style jump.
