I beg to differ...

1. My 28.5 FT are 318mm

2. According to FT's chart 26.5 should be 301mm

3. According to FT's chart they don't make any boots with a 315mm BSL

Standard Textbook BSLs (Rossignol Sensor3 boots add 5mm):

22 - 265mm

23 - 275

24 - 285

25 - 295

26 - 305

27 - 315

28 - 325

29 - 335

30 - 345

31 - 355

Full Tilt BSLs:

22 - 268mm

23 - 277

24 - 282

25 - 293

26 - 301

27 - 310

28 - 318

29 - 326

30 - 335

31 - 342

The new Influence Full Tilt boots (Booter, High Five, Mary Jane) have a new BSL that does not correspond at all to the Original series. I don't have the Influence figures handy anymore but I'm sure someone on here can post them up.

hey. i have a salomon freestyle boot with a bsl of 293 mm. im getting a fulltilt or dalbello. what size should i look to get? i need something thats a little big on me for growing into.

^not to be a prick, but you need to go see a boot-fitter. No one can properly answer this because no one can see your foot nor do a shell fit over the interweb. It's unfortunately not that simple...

I got my bindings adjusted to a 29.5 2012 FT Booter. But after a day or so of wearing them around the house, I exchanged them for a 28.5 2012 Spk. The BSL of the SPK is 277mm, but I don't remember the booter's. According to FT charts it should be 226mm, so is it worth getting my bindings readjusted for a 1mm difference?

Alrighty, assuming the schizo have the same forward pressure adjustment as the jesters. The little screw at the bottom back of the heelpiece (not the DIN screw inside the "dildo"!!!) is the forward pressure indicator. Turn that screw one "click" clockwise (you'll understand what I mean by click when you turn it). And you should se the heelpiece move ever so slightly forward. One click should be enough to account for 1mm difference in BSL.

The forward pressure scre on the jesters is here:

If it ain't there, I can't help you finding it. But 1mm is barely nothing, so unless you have problem with unwanted binding release skiing them, it's probably fine.

PS! To any other readers of this, screwing with the forward pressure without knowing what you're doing is not advised. This here is how to account for 1mm BSL difference on a binding set correctly for the 1mm bigger bsl.

Jesus, I just realized you had new boots with 1mm longer BSL. Then it would be 1 click COUNTERclockwise, not clockwise like i wrote. And the heelpiece should move ever so slightly backwards. Sorry about that!

That's what I figured you meant, thanks for the help, +k! And also, I just read that the Booter isn't a traditional FT BSL, so does anyone know the BSL for a 29.5 Booter would be? And does one click always equal one mm of movement?

I'm pretty sure one click would account for approx. 1mm, but that can be measured. Tape down a metric ruler next to a part of the heelpiece and measure how much it moves with one click ;)

Alright thanks! And according to that chart, my previous boots were a 330 BSL, so that's 3mm bigger than my new boots, so 3 clicks clockwise?

Yep, that sounds about right: You could measure to be sure. Should be easy to find a printout tape-measure on the big 'ol interwebs and tape it next to the binding to see how far a certain point of the binding moves ;)
