Yup. So is the park gonna get better next year, because it was better than past years.....but it still sucked dick. Why can't they actually get a good park for once. They put no money into the park. Anyone know any "insider stuff"?
 
alpine valley will never have a good park cause the place has no money. its a tiny ass lil place in buttfuckin nowhere (i know, i grew up right down the rd), with no vert, and almost all thier customers are either ski schools or older local peeps. who cares, snowtrails, Boston Mills, brandywine, seven springs are all fairly close to you. go there if you wanna ride park.
 
Well I can't get rides to Snowtrails every weekend....it's 1.5 HOURS away. BM/BW park blows, just not as big of a cock and it's over run with school bus kids.....and that's 40 minutes away. Seven Spings is really far away......I'd rather go to Holiday Valley. Basically I'm stuck riding at Alpine Valley for a few years and I wish they could improve park.....not spending much money....just fucking build a few nice small jumps and make jumps that are groomed for the rail.
 
i love alpine valley...but it suck...but its still fun to fuck around witrh friends and just backflip every jump on the hill and the patrol chase you for like an hour
 
dude i work at alpine they hav 0 money for insurance or to hire any1 more for park crew they are broke son
 
Jea the place is hella ghetto.....but dicking around with friends is what's up.......ahha this one ski patrol bitch came up to us and was like "this is the best run in the whole place and some of us good skiers like to ski it....why are you guys stopped right in the middle of the hill"......she was referring to the back of the tow rope.....we were waiting for out drop for a jump. snowin....did alpine do better money wise this year?......they were fucking crzy busy with gapers when they finally opened in January. All that said I still love alpine.
 
well they were about too sell it but the guy that was going to buy it hated it and saidnit was a piece of shit...the lifts are too old and the plumbing and electrical blows
 
Yeah the lifts are fucking slow and they break/ are rusting to shit. They opened like halfway through January and closed at the end of February.....i think....place is fucked up. But for like 10 minutes away it's fun to fuck around. Snow Trails is where it's at though.
 
all those chairs welds break all the time we hav to reweld them all the time, alpine bought all their lifts used...did u knoiw that? and that was prbly 45 years ago.... the doubles clutch has burned out 4 times while ppl on it if a lifty doesnt catch that then the lift will start rolling back becoming faster and faster until every1 is thrown off at the bottom when it goes around the bull wheel
 
Everything at Alpine is used.... from the grommers to the snow machines, the lifties, the kithcen help... all used! Who gives a shit what goes on up there, i have been skiing there since i was three years old and everytime i go there its always a great time! People need to stop bitching and stand up for what they want at their resort. Nothing will ever happen if you complain about it just with your friends. Get all the skiiers and boarders together and make a meeting with George, he is an asshole but if you all say that you wont ski there anymore or wont buy season passes he will have to seriously think about it. (Because Alpines only real income is presale season passes and daily school lessons)
 
if i went into georges office with like 20 kids and said hey if you dont start making changes we are all going to bmbw hed be like um alright later
 
Hahaha how about like 60 or so? I'm for real, I love the place, and as mentioned before I never have a bad time there, but it needs to make some serious fucking changes. I don't wat to go to BW or BM......how about alpine fucking invests and makes a real effort in the place instead of being money saving dicks......in the end they would make a profit from an initial investment.
 
Here's an idea......how about they redo their website?

That is like just showing how pathetic alpine is....they show a mountain in the background.

They could:

-Buy newer used lifts.

-Use all their snowguns that they have......they actually have a good amount for how small the hill is. (Yes, I know it's still expensive for electricity, but they sure as hell have enough water with the lake there.)

-Repaint/Refurbish the existing rails.

-Try to open before the middle of January. (Even though this year did blow on the east coast.)

-Have actual lines in the park......like a small table, to a box, to a rail, to a decent sized table.

-Don't advertise hill's such as the back of the tow rope as a black diamond. Also, the two trails are marked as black diamonds......funny thing is I have trouble with getting enough speed to make it through there sometimes.

-MAKE SURE THAT THE LIFTS ARE SAFE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!

We should make a petition for serious changes to be made.
