Why are you still so incredibly impressed by someone doing the bare minimum? His craftsmanship is AWFUL, even before you pull out the measuring tape you can see it. If my furniture came out like that, I wouldn't charge for it. Plain and simple. I have standards for my work, and I couldn't imagine selling something in that kind of shape. I have taught people while volunteering in the local shop that put more effort into their first projects than this guy puts into what he calls a business. He's completely incompetent and I would be sad to see another kid spend his hard earned summer money on a disappointment.
You get what you pay for, and the fact is that if he was putting out a halfway decent product then just the materials should cost $300 for a pair with his tiny volume of orders. It astounds me that people will support and tolerate such unprofessionalism, and I really hope no one else gets shafted when they can't afford to (especially the young guys on here who can't afford to buy replacements while they wait).
