Looks like it will be opening up in about 34 days. It's been snowing pretty hard today. Let's hope this is a good sign for the future!
 
I'm hiking the mountain tomorrow. It looks awesome on the webcams and it's supposed to keep snowing through the weekend.
 
I skinned up yesterday, and it was decent. There was more snow than I expected. And a lot more people hiking that i expected. I bet i saw 15 people.
 
Today was great. Better coverage than opening day last year and it dumped the entire time i was there.
 
Yesterday was so much fun. I made a super short 38 second clip mainly encompassing the fact that the bike trails look covered but they are NOT. I fell into one and double ejected like a damn fool...and then I fell again which is actually pretty relevant to my typical day skiing. Either way it's a great way to start the year!

That's sweet!! What changes do you think are gonna come this year in terms of features. like do you think theyre gonna go bigger? or more technical, or maybe both

Either Way im pumped to get out this season, cant wait for opening weekend!!
 
Honestly i wouldn't expect much. I really doubt they make anything big. Hopefully they will switch it up more though. Also i have been exchanging ideas with C.J of possible intermediate feature combos that could have a lot of options.

P.s- "maybe" expect a very short edit to drop in here around early December. Nolan was going off today.
 
I live up on the mountain, and we had enough snow that my friends car got stuck and kept spinning in my drive way. We had to tow it out. Nothin like some fresh!

As far as the talk about the park goes, I'm on park crew. I've been out of the country for the past 7 weeks, so I haven't exactly been fully informed on the current situation, but I can assure you that it will be a better season for the park than we've had in recent years. With T in charge and the crew (that I know of) coming back it should be a lot of fun and there will definitely be more motivation this year. Just don't forget that we have very limited funding and resources.
 
I was a huge fan of the bigger jump that was set up, also the cannon/down flat rail right after it. a few years ago there was a jump gap to butter box, if its possible you guys should work towards setting that up again!!

Cant wait to see what comes from it
 
No longer dropping a preseason edit. We filmed a few days back to back, got tired of skiing and fell back to other activities.
 
It's dumping and the temperatures are supposed to stay insanely cold all week. Hopefully this means some light pow for opening day.

It is so freakin cold up here right now. It's about -1. I'm not sure if I will last the whole day on Saturday...
 
I'm sure everyone will be taking lots of breaks in the summit house. I think I'll be taking the 7:15 bus up. The wait for the lifts to start running is probably going to be the coldest part.
 
Ill be there for 2 weeks over my Christmas break, and I saw a video of the park crew making a DFD and a battleship. anyone have a clue when these features will be in because im excited to hit them!
 
We're working on getting depot (small park) set up and upper central (medium jump line) ready to go by or around christmas. Then we should be able to focus more on the rail line
 
Are you guys going to be changing up the jumps on upper central at all or are they going to be similar to previous years?

definitely going to be switching it up a little bit. should be different positioning and spacing and we're planning on mixing in some jibs and wallrides, etc.

 
I'm not sure how serious you guys were about putting a sideways wallride on the first jump but i approve.
