Official 2012 Gaper Day Discussion Thread

Unfortunately, I have to patrol on Sunday where I must be on my best behavior. I will be hosting a pre-Gaper day on Saturday at PCMR. Anyone and everyone welcome to attend.
 
It's this Sunday at PC right? I'm trying desperately to get my hands on a pair of snowlerblades. Going to work on my jorts tonight.
 
I'll get off work at No Name at probably 3am then wake up 4hrs later to start drinking... Sunday will be an interesting day
 
gaper day is my birthday, which is awesome. if anyone lives in the sugarhouse area, i'm throwing a wizard staff party saturday night, pm me for the deets
 
I'm so stoked man!! Unfortunately, I don't think we are going to get as lucky with the weather as we did last year, but it will still be an epic time. It's gonna feel great to break out the old stretch pants again!
 
Looking at the weather I may have to stick with jeans instead of jorts. Apparently winter is making a return for a couple days...
 
I have some kickass zebra pants that i want to wear. although looks like its going to be a pow day so we'll see how this pans out.

Saturday would be cool but postponing gaper day to another day is like postponing christmas. It just doesn't work like that.
 
Guys, Gaper day is officially Gaper Weekend. Tell your friends, tell your twitter followers, tell your Grandmother. This is one for the history books.

Corner Store afterwards was a complete shitshow... waking up this morning was not fun. But damn, even with shitty weather Gaper Day was still my favorite of the season. Anyone doing JortSki at the 'Bird on May 19th?
 
hahaha was that you I was talkin to at Summit House? I went fruit bootin' down McConkeys a few times, aiming for every patch of dirt I could find. Went over to the Keystone mine for the party for awhile, tried to hit the booter they built but my ski blade tip dug into someone's posthole and tossed me on my face at full speed. Decided I was too drunk to be skiing any more at that point and just went to Corner Store.
 
Haha yup, that was me - I'm the patroller that was hanging out.

I had to sweep Keystone at the end of the day. No one was left at 4:10, which was good, because then I would have had to stay longer.
