I feel like at least half of the top 25 is either SEC or PAC 12.
 
this is a rebuilding year for the big 10 and everyone knew it was going to be. The whole penn state scandal, coach meyer at OSU and their restrictions, plus pretty much every team lost their star quarterbacks

Curious who will win in a Ducks/K State National Championship. I think it could be pretty evenly matched.
 
You look pretty smart right about now. Big ducks fan since 04-05 (claim) but so pumped right now but nobody jinx it. I still cringe when i think about arizona in 07
 
Their loss in 2011 to Auburn still gets to me. If they get that far again and lose again I will have to put a gun to my head.

Actually, you know what? Watch. USC wins next week, and it ends up being Alabama vs. Florida for the championship again...
 
the only team sport i care about is college football, and for all my life the only team ive cared about is kansas state. kinda bummed after that loss

Does ND have a shot against Bama in the title game?

With Barkley out, I think its unlikely Southern Cal wins Saturday, so really its down to whether Bama can win the SEC championship.
 
ND easily disposes of the crippled and weakened SC team. SC started strong by have fizzled ever since the Stanford loss. They were easily put down by UCLA this weekend. ND is a much stronger team than UCLA.
 
It will be a barn burner... probably 45-31 Oregon... where they pour it on late and grab 3 TD's in the final 20 minutes to pull away.

That said, I'd like those pesky fucking Beavers to beat them... OSU doing well in the Pac 12 is always fun, because they seem to be the red headed stepchild of the state, just like WSU tends to be way up north.

anyways, fuck the Pac 12 championship game now... I mean... Stanfurd vs. UCLOL 2 times in a row, if Furd wins next week? Fucking bullshit... I suppose I'll root for the "sons of westwood, song stealing, southern branch" in those contests... because fuck the Furd.

and in Cal news? what the fuck... Hopefully Berkeley brings in Petersen from Boise State (UC Davis represent! werddd!) or just about anyone that may start kicking some ass at Cal.. I love Tedford, but this year was just awful enough that they might give him the boot...

That said, if he can Mike Riley it, and return next year with the same outcome as the Beavs did this season, It would completely restore my faith in him... He's the most successful coach in school history, and he's never had a season as bad as this. If Mike Riley can return his school to glory following some poor seasons, why can't the same happen in Berkeley?

 
good point ^. also cant wait for the ND vs USC game this weekend. That will be good to. Im hoping to see USC come in with some confidence and beat ND.
 
Confidence? They started the season #1, now are 5-4 unranked and got pummeled by crosstown rivals UCLA last weekend (mind you, who they beat 50-0 least year). Oh and their star QB won't be playing. I'd say their confidence is gone.
 
USC is likely toast, but then again, they're still USC and likely have some ridiculous QB waiting in the wings who will make them competitive..

And, I really couldn't stand a ND loss right now... it would basically mean a Florida vs. Alabama/Georgia championship game.

...which is exactly what the NCAA wants, and it's disgusting.

tOSU goes undefeated, still means nothing haha. Curious to see if they could have won out with the pressure of it actually having meaning.
