ya but a lot of players do that, even the great ones have done it, and avery, who he says is so good, probably did the biggest/stupidest dive of the century so thats why i wasnt taking dives into consideration
 
Flyers put the smack down on the sens last night, pens lost too, love it. Hope we can repeat that performance with the habs tonight. Tell ya what, starting off the workweek with two nights of hockey does amazing things for stress. Lets go flyers.

ya i never said stevens' hits werent fair, its just that you were saying you thought he was an idiot because he almost injured a couple players and i was just sayin that hes not the only one man, but whatever i dont really give a shit if you like lapierre or not
and yo anathema, do you understand now why i was rattled when leafs fans were going buck after winning the first 4 games? look at them now...
 
What fans is everybody talking about? When they were 4-0 all I heard from the people around me were that its gonna go downhill quick. Yet the only time I ever heard about fans going nuts it was when coming on here and people I know from out west talking shit on facebook.

I called their bad spell coming around christmas time, guess it came way the hell earlier haha. Theyll pull out of it eventually, once they get some injuries back.

Some good hockey on tonight, philly/ habs game should be good, and leafs/preds.

I can definetly understand that most are idiots, but so is everybody in toronto.

lol no worries man, when i laced up for the first time this year for men's league i was fuckin dying out there, hadnt touched the ice in like 2 years, my cardio sucked balls ahaha. dont worry though, you'll get better, last weekend i scored my first hat-trick, she was a beauty
 
same! took off 2 years outta high school, jumped into a beer league game and tried to play like i use too, almost puked after 2nd period and 3rd was probably the worse period of my life...gotta give her a few games to get the lungs back...haha
 
i don't like Avery but you gotta admit he's good at what he does.

and it wasn't a sucker punch in any way, he jumped him, but Smid just couldn't get his hands up in time
 
as long as price can avoid being an immature douchebag, which he has a tendency to do (rolls his head around after goals are let in, whines after games), he's gonna be so sick. just seems he needs to mature a little, realize that not every game is gonna be fuckin perfect, and look forward. keep his eye on the big picture. he's got all the talent in the world, but it'd suck to see his head get the best of him
 
ye i agree with you, although i think hes gonna be better this year at dealing with all that shit. like at the start of the season, when he wasnt playing too well and the fans were on his case, he was like yo chill, theres still a lot of hockey left to play, lets relax a little bit. after that, he got goin and hes playin like a champ now
 
told. yee philly had a good run last season, but i mean so did the habs. habs weren't expected to do much and they dominated. always nice to see guys step up, like PK SUBBAN who was thrust into a leadership role and did a pretty fuckin good job. he's siiiick. gonna be an elite d-man for many many years

Deep down, I wish montreal had a decent fighter. Especially when playing against very physically intimidating teams such as Philadelphia.
 
Making light of the fact that we took you 4 games to 2 last playoffs that's all.

and bumblesteeze we didn't look very physical or dominating last night. Couple good hits but that was about it.
 
Markov over rated ??? Team's doing fine *this year* without him but he's still one of the best D in the league.

offense got better. defense is still good.... they just need to play consistently
 
ya i knew what you were referring to, its just that if you look at the thread title closely, we're talking about the 2010/2011 season in here ahahabut ya flyers' playoff run last year was legit, not gonna lie
 
Hamrlik is not like pronger AT ALL.

His style is completely different in almost every way except that sometimes he does get quite physical. Unlike Pronger who's all physical, all the time, but still is able to make heads up plays and drive the puck to his forwards.

There's at least 20 other guys who are better comparisons for Hamirlik than Pronger...
