naw ya i know, i've met him before and he was chill and shit, but hes not a big fan of the canadiens/french canadians in general and sometimes he's got a biased opinion because of that and it rattles me a lil bit

well thats the thing, if you're gonna go on tv, and thousands of people from around the country are tuning in to hear what you have to say about the game and the sport in general, i expect to see someone with an unbiased opinion and who knows what hes talking about. with cherry, lets say as a random example a french canadian guy and a boston player are chirping, and the boston guy drops the mits, and the canadiens guy decides not to fight because hes a lot smaller and shit and just doesnt wanna fight, cherry would go buck on this guy calling him a pussy and those god damn french guys they have no heart, theyre cowards bla bla bla. now if you reverse that shit, and the boston player is the one who pussies out, cherry would be like oh thats ok, the other guy was 10 times bigger than him, what the fuck was that guy thinking picking a fight with this boston guy? hes like 35 times bigger than him, he needs to go pick on someone his own size, fuckin frenchies theyre so stupid fuck those guys. obviously it wouldnt be anything like that but you get the point ahaha

and edmonton is fuckin doing work, eberle's goal was pretty fuckin hands

 
kinda funny some people getting sensitive over what don cherry says. im positive i've heard cherry praising some montreal players last season in the playoffs.
 
lol im not getting sensitive brah, but ya i do agree that he does praise some mtl players. i just got rattled because of something he said at the start of the game and shit got out of hand for a sec ahaha. i agree, i was talking mad shit

ya, but watch all the pussies that don't even care about the game using the aftermath footage as ammo. i was pretty pleased to see a little girl watching the fight at the glass that i missed the ko real time.

i was at the pens game last night. really not a good game on either side. the reffing sucked terrible, they missed about 9 calls in the first 15 minutes of the game and then started calling some bullshit on the penguins still not why the pens lost. stupid turnovers and not being able to finish killed the pens. i cant tell you how many times the puck was just sitting under the goalie or right in front of him with no one touching it and the pens players would miss the puck completely, not see it, hit it off the cross bar or shoot it right into the goalies chest. it was pretty pathetic but the turnover in the 3rd that led to a break away goal sealed it for philly. good game either way and its only the first of the season. would have been nice to see a win in the first game at the new arena but whatever.
 
Avs suprised me last night, there offense is going to be crazy good this year. We played very good last night, even without one of our best offensive weapons Peter Mueller.
 
i sat 4 rows behind him for 2 periods no hate against the guy because he is good for a rookie but the pens fucking blew it.. wiffing on easy one timers, not being able to just poke check the puke into the goal and well making bobrovsky look amazing by shooting an east 25 of the 31 shots on goal right into his chest. still no hate good game by the flyers they look pretty damn good again and thats hard for me to say because im a pens fan but gotta give credit where credit is due.
 
Avalanche looked so good last night, Stastny/Duchene are going to be unstoppable. Such a young fast squad, way to take down the Cup champs on opening night!!

God I hope we can pick somebody up at the deadline this year that kicks ass.

Edmonton is looking scary, they prob won't be consistent enough this year but lookout, they are on the rise again:

Hall, Eberle, Gagner, Hemsky, Cogliano, Brule, Penner, Horcoff, Paajarvi.

plus they are slowly building a solid defence corp through free agency mainly.

they need a legit goaltender now, not sure who they have in minors though
 
ya man. living in ab i will see a lot of them on tv. they should be fun to watch.

and i would say the bulin wall is a pretty legit goalie. maybe not like he used to be.

but he has playoff/stanley cup experience
 
he's past his prime i'd say and getting older.

by the time their younguns have some experience, 3+ years, they're gonna need a new goalie prob
 
but yo, im back in toronto for thanksgiving weekend and we dont have rds here so we couldnt watch the habs game, so i watched the leafs game instead, and i gotta tell you, i was impressed. ottawa sucked the big one for sure but still, toronto did work. they were moving the puck well and the defense werent doing some next dumb shit. i want them to keep it up yo, it'd make shit interesting

they were wearing the jerseys from the 70-71 season, and they didn't have names back then.

pissed we lost, thought we deserved 2 points. fucking Kesler, stupid penalty at a stupid time.

but the PK at the end of OT was amazing!!! new guys getting it done
