I don't really care. Personally I think it was mostly luck that got them this far. Whatever. The better team one and it just so happened to be boston. As much as I hate their fans, Good for boston.
I feel awful for Kesler though, first he loses the Olympics then he is one of the only guys to show up in game 7 and he cant win that either. When you see someone who puts every ounce of effort into the game and lose you just feel bad for them
Agreed, to go through two devastating loses in the finals of the two biggest hockey stages in the world in the span of a little more than a year must be incredibly difficult. He played his heart out tonight and is someone I've always had a lot of respect for as a hockey player. Hope him and the rest of the American team get a gold medal in the 2014 Olympics.
so i watched the game and the bar and im pretty drunk right now but LOL SHOUTOUT WTF they could've at least put up a fight. i mean i wanted them to lose to lose but they coulv'e least made it fun to watch yknow.
And I haven't heard anyone mention this so far, but even as a Bruins fan seeing Raymond there in the stadium getting a standing ovation was a great sight to see.
players? wtf. they told fans wearing canucks gear that they couldn't come in the bar and then that shit was retracted just like the billboard comparing Lightning fans to fictional characters. oops. our bad... get your facts straight before you go on with dumbass claims
Are you fucking kidding me? Did you miss the memo that vancouver fans are completely fucking up the the town right now because they lost? Also, Booing when the game finished up during the cup presentation was fucking low class. Really fucking awesome to hear about the USA chant. They're all a bunch of poor sports.
HOLY SHIT is the city fucking happy right now. Everyone is in teh streets just loving life, doing whatever they want. After trollin around the garden we drove around hanging out the sunroof high fiving everyone, such a great time. ill post vids tomorrow
shitty fans? Rumors of not letting opposing fans into a bar to prevent probable fights compared to the rumors of Boston fans being stabbed, beaten, seriously injured and possibly killed in Vancouver after the game. It's obvious that the Bruins situation is much much worse...
And for those of you claiming that hardcore nucks fans wouldn't do that shit that's probably true, but unfortunately a bandwagon fan is still a fan.
prettty thankful our boys and that cup decided to come right back home after the game tonight. right back onto bear force one and home to boston with the prize. business trip, indeed.
fucking awesome to see horton, full gear, back on the ice hoisting that cup up.
I wish I could have been in Boston, but I was lucky enough to be in a sports bar that was going absolutely nuts during the game.
It was also fun cause people would just drive by and honk at groups of people on the street and there would be an immediate response of "Woooo Bruins!"
But like I said, nothing compared to Boston and I really wish I could have been there to join in on the festivities.
just got back from downtown vancouver. i would like to make it clear that the people causing trouble are NOT canucks fans. most have no jersey and are wearing balaclavas. people planned to riot even before the game started.
