In the distant future when many hockey legends had retired and sadly passed away this unfolded:
Bobby Orr, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with faded Bruin flags in the windows.
"This house is yours for eternity, Bobby." said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Orr felt special indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3 story mansion with a blue and green sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flag pole with an enormous Canucks flag, and in every window a blue or white Towel.
Orr looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-star defenseman, considered one of the best players of all time, and I even went to the Hockey Hall of Fame!"
God said, "So what's you point Bobby?"
"Well, why does Trevor Linden get a better house than me?"
God chuckled, and said, "Bobby, that's not Trevor's house, it's mine."
no disrespect to Bobby meant, just thought it was funny.
This is the most nervous and excited i have ever been.
GO CANUCKS GO, BRING THE CUP HOME BOYS!!!!!
