luongo didnt even stirr shit up, his quote just got taken out of context. all he really said was that he and thomas have different styles of goaltending, he even credited that thomas' style allows him to make saves that luongo himself doesnt. just drop it, its a moot point and its fucking retarded taking quotes out of context the way the boston media has.

anyways, vancouver has statistically out-chanced boston this game, thomas is just playing so insanely good. that and vancouver players missing 4 open nets. though vancouver is being outplayed the score does not depict what is going on.
 
Well, at least it's not a shutout. Maybe they can get within 2 here and make it worth watching the end?
 
well i didnt argue it on the 8-1 loss. there was no hope there, but the 4-0 and this have not been nearly as one sided as the score has made it out to be.

but clearly one-sided enough. Vancouver may very well be out-chancing Boston, but the fact of the matter is they just aren't putting the puck in the net. they aren't capitalizing on picture perfect opportunities, and Tim Thomas is basically being a fucking stone wall. He bails his defense out, but his defense bails him out as well. there have been plenty of times when the puck is just bouncing around outside the crease and a Boston defender just slaps it away while Thomas is rolling around aimlessly.

Vancouver isn't playing great defense and their goal-tending is shit.

It has nothing to do with hubris or hockey gods and everything to do with not showing up for games. They can't blame this on weird bounces.

No one here is saying that that wasn't a classless thing for Marchand to do... Don't really see how that Marchand play is relevant to all the classless shit that the Canucks have done this series

So we lost the game in a matter of 5 mins, pathetic.

Once again we lose by a big score but the game was much closer then the score suggested. 2 posts and some amazing saves by Thomas once again kept this from being a 1 goal game.

Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals, the moment all these players have dreamed of. This is gonna come down to who wants it more and who is willing to sacrifice the most, and i hope that Vancouver comes out on top.

Luongo will play game 7, no doubt in my mind, he's played amazing at home and he has been the guy all year, not gonna start this game.

So apparently Rome got suspended for a late hit/interference and the injury that resulted from the hit, so will Boychuck be suspended, his hit could be considered late and interference and he caused an injury... lol jk. theres no way in hell, but just kind of proves how bad the ruling in the NHL is..

Hoping Ramyond is good to go for game 7, if not i'd like to see Cody slot into the 4th line, Tamby hasn't really impressed me apart from 1 or 2 plays.
 
I feel bad for raymond he looked really hurt But I didn't see intention to injure on that play. They got tied up and it looked like Raymond slammed his tailbone really hard into the boards. More of an accident than the Rome hit.

Game 7 will be tight

Cant tell if ski4life is serious.....that was shittt raymond got hurt on such a weird play but there was nothing dirty about any part of that play....just two guys gettin tangled and goin into the boards
 
Nah, not really going to blame Boychuk, but would have liked to see him let up and not crunch Raymond when he's vulnerable like that. Unfortunately it's tough to react within a split second and forego your hit once you've committed to it mentally, so it would be unreasonable to expect him to do that. Just ask Aaron Rome...

was just trying to stake that according to Murphy the main reasons for Rome's suspension was the late hit/interference and the serious injury and both of those could be applied to the Raymond-Boychuk incident.

Obviously Boychuck will not get suspended nor is it deserving in any way, just trying to show the NHL really has to set some serious guidelines and rules about how they handle their disciplinary actions because their reasoning behind the Rome hit can be applied to many situations, ala the Raymond injury

Obviously they are two entirely different plays and causes of injury but the problem is that the NHL punished Rome for the injury and the cause of the injury for the most part.

And for as long as i have been a Vancouver fan they have never done things the easy or stress-free way, so i see no reason for them to start in the Stanley Cup finals, they just like to make us fans sweat.

i can gurantee that i will cry Wednesday, whether they will be for happiness or sadness will be determined.
 
First period was hot fire. Second got sloppy. Third was okay-ish. Timmy again proved he's a beast. Marchand let his emotion take over at the end there again. And i want more from krecji in game 7. Ya he got a goal and drew a penalty but he was

Oh hell yeah if Marchand were on the opposing team I'd want that little bastard crushed. He does way to good a job of pulling dirty shit when he knows no ref is looking. 14 game misconducts in the finals. Entertaining for sure but I can't say it's necessary for the game to be this dirty.
 
Not much to say, didn't think we were going to win it tonight but I'm still disappointed. Wish we had a goon on the Sedins line, or they had some spine, so little shits like Marchand wouldn't think they're tough.

I can only imagine the uproar had Raffi Torres or Tanner Glass done that to Seguin.

well next season when getting thrown out of the stanley cup finals isn't on the line someone will. Same goes for Lapierre. Guys don't take kindly to cheap little guys and aren't afraid to take a 3 game suspension for killing a little shit
 
If the referees want to know why this series has gone to hell frequently and they've had to hand out a bunch of misconducts, it's because of things like Marchand punching a guy in the face four times and nothing happens. They don't do anything about it. If it's after the whistle apparently you can do whatever you like. It's just a poor job of game management on their part.

Anyway I am extremely depressed right now, I feel like B's fans will be able to shrug a loss off but if the Nucks don't pull something out on Wednesday the whole province will essentially be like a massive funeral for the next month. I was 9 in 94 and when the clock hit zero I threw up and cried, something similar will likely happen if we lose again. I really hope we don't, and my brain is telling me that we have a very good chance, but my gut has a sinking feeling in it like "you know how the Canucks do. Their purpose is to ruin your emotional wellbeing." And yet we hope, because we are stupid and can't help it, like an abused spouse or something.

Wow that is an awful analogy, I should ban myself.
