ever land wrong and get a pole to the chest? fucking hurts like a bitch. Short poles don't get in the way and don't have the ability to impale you nearly as easily
 
I ride (relatively) short poles in pow as well. Less likely to take it to the face stomping off a cliff, less likely to catch when going switch in pow, and forces you to stay forward not backseat because you have to reach for your pole plants. They arent little tiny 36 inch park rat poles, but they wouldnt be considered typical length.
 
if your worried about getting hit by poles or not planting them then why would you just not use them?

i always park ski without them
 
Correction: I think I look better using poles.

I really don't care if you use poles or not. I have my reasons and you probably have yours.

 
because i feel like a flaily disaster without them.

also i ski zones that run out into relatively flat areas where not being able to pole would be awful.
 
And here is my Orage suit. Jacket is insulated but pants feel really thin.

One of the sickest suits this year. But your jacket needs to be longer for those pants, or the pants need to be smaller.
 
Your an idiot. Next time you complain about not having pow skis to shred pow with and how it skiing a foot of fresh sucks with parks sticks (+K to whoever can find his post about that), maybe consider buying some pow sticks instead of another gay ass skittles brand suit.

No, you're an idiot. When I worked last summer, I only made enough money to buy 1 pair of skis. I had to buy other things as well. That's why this year, when I get a job again, I'm going to buy pow skis. By the way. I didn't buy this suit. I got it in a trade. Hate all you want on my suits, I like them, that's what matters.

 
What matters is not what you think silly tween from Canada. How many bags of skittles did you have to eat to have enough wrappers to construct those flamboyant, to say the least, suits.
 
To the least say suit? Come on, give me a break. My suits are some kind of shitty outerwear like First Drop. They are quality suits. And just because I like bright outerwear makes me a tool? How judgmental. Different people like different stuff. You may like all black stuff, while I like all black and really bright suits.

newschoolers seems to be getting harder and harder to understand. People make a thread about "what suit should i get" and they get responses like what ever you like. Then people like you come along and criticize someone for wearing something different, give him a break. He is being his own person and you should be able to respect that

Well I just got my Orage suit so I'm not using it till next winter. We will just have to see. Probably number each one then draw a number.
 
I'd have to say thats a pretty sick setup (+mix and matching). Although the pants could be a little less "baggy".
