if anyone hears of any weather moving in post that shit. im still in ohio and am gonna be motoring my way across the country next week. so keep me informed. i know Tek9-ice baby is already all over this shit.

It's gonna be more of a normal season this year w/ out all the El nino precip we had last year. So probably not gonna get 10 ft in Oct. this year, but it'll come... just gotta be patient...

^why do you say that, the pacific ocean is still warmer this year than it is on average...thats basically all el nino is right.

el nino is a shift in the weather pattern that occurs naturally every four years. though the temperature of the ocean does have a significant amount to do with it, there are many other factors involved.

the el nino before this we didnt get shit though, it mostly has to do with the warm ocean temps in teh pacific. Warm ocean temps= more storms which = a happy me

some one go burn some skies on top off high boy

kill a cow feed it to some crocs give a dollor to a bum walk a old ladie acrross the street. go to church. eat all your veggies and it will come

relax folks, same shit happened last year. It was snowing in vermont and my friend from New york was crying, then it stopped snowing on the East Coast completely and it just puked here non-stop for the winter. Have some patience Alta/Bird get more snow than anywhere else in this country on average, count on it.

every body relax the rest of the h2 crew will be on the way out there tomorrow so the snow will come when we get there. pray to god it comes

15 day forecasts are unreliable at best. Dont get all depressed because it doesnt day that there is a storm coming in the 15 day. You never know what can brew up or redirect its course.

there is a snow advisory up right now above 8,000.

and perhaps a big storm next weekend, but yeah that is far and thsi is Utah, so hell who knows.

either way this is fine. a few years back we had 100 in in 100 hrs over thanksgiving. the valley got like a foot or 2 i think. but my first year you could bairly ski anything due to lack of snow untill sometime in december.

Sugarloaf picked up 40" which is just plain ridiculous when you look at the calendar. I just read that Mt. Washington has had 72 inches of snow now in the last 12 days.

Killington is opening this weekend with natural snow. Last season they opened eary but all man made shit and i was bummed....Im nervous because when the east coast gets slammed the west often times is dry.

why all the east coastians in the utah forum? Dont you have your own forum of sorts? Go back to your snowy, east coast forum and quit bumming me out with my own blinding jealousy.

unless you want us posting pictures of utah in 2 weeks through the rest of winter of how much better the west is than the east...stop posting pictures.

HAHA im going to post my photo album at around christmas......then the east coast kids will kill themselves......mwahahahah
