Official 08/09 Ski *Pics* Thread

all of the msp's aren't pictured, dangz.

directional ski - international market, i guess.
 
and if this is even possible by a mod - i would say make the first post very short and the 2nd post with all the pics, so you dont have to scroll on every page.

my sum up:

volkl- wall graphic is dissapointing, some really fat skis

line- nothing outrageously sick, but the whole line is pretty sick

k2- EXTREME, those skis look sick, obseths look really similar to last years i think, bents look fuckin dope and the fujis or kang fujis look pretty dope

does anyone know what the extremes are targeted for? or like a PE equivilent?
 
yeah, they dont look like theyve changed much from last year

Jah Loves are nasty, I like the chopsticks too (it figures... i'm asian)
 
i think a lot of people are not seeing this thread since it's a sticky... they just pass over it , I did, until i searched 09.

anyway..that aside I have a lot of opinions about the new skis, some of which i shouldn't mention..

rossi graphics look ill; however, i have to look past that because they dropped all their create it winners and seem to have gone out and payed rando artists, some of which don't even ski. they had people that cared about skiing, art, and the cool competition they had, but just dropped it all. lame

ep pros and the bird graphics (are those lizzies?) are amazing, pollard rocks

 
4frnts look like they took a HUGGEE step in graphics. and did anyone else notice that the invaders didnt have a tip in the one picture?

dumont has not even done his graphic yet. i asked a kid who was at our comp thats sponorized by them... thats probably a prototype or somthing. and the ski i doubt would look like this

ok what does that say other than dumont pro ski. it could say proto type for a new design in there unless you translate that word for word it means nothing

k so i got pnwed haha it says thats the pro for next year. but i wont beilieve thats the ski tell i acutally see the 09 line. how ever retarded that sounds
 
+karma to anyone who can name for me the volkl line ups in each pic and who makes those white skis called EXTREME at the tip, is that the k2 everyone talking about?

If you go to the reference links that the post creator posted it has all the pictures with the names of the skis.

The K2 extreme ski is the one that has the K2 K2 K2 K2 running down the length of the ski. the link will expalin it all though.

next 2 skis are chronics

guessing prophet 90's or 100's? or anthems

What are the skis to the left of what I am guessing to be Elizabeths? (Blue ski with bird) They appear to be near the width of the Elizabeth, leading me to believe that they are not Prophets. Any insight?
 
i thought they were the sir francis bacons kuz the prophet series usually has mountains on them, all kinda interconnecting. and the ski to the right of the chronics, and left of the ?? ski (the ugly one that we're trying to figure out) has blue mountains. agree?

chronics are sick but they look a little too much like the 06/07's
