OFFICAL NHL PLAYOFF THREAD

I'm honestly picking Philly over the Caps in 6 games.

The caps play in the shittiest division in hockey. The south east BLOWS! The whole division system really pisses me off. Why does a team with with 5 less points than the #4 seed, 3 less points than the #5 seed, 1 less point than the #6 seed, the same number of points as the 7 and 8 seeds, get the #3 spot?

Teams in the Atlantic and North East are kicking the shit out of each other, and Washington is romping around down south with the bottom of the barrel in the NHL. 4/5 teams in the Atlantic division made the fucking playoffs! I've always stood by and said the atlantic was the best and most heated division in hockey.

But here are my picks

EAST

Montreal over Boston (5 games)

Pittsburgh over Ottawa (5 games)

Philly over Washington (6 games)

Rangers over Devils (6 games)

WEST

Detroit over Nashville (4 games)

San Jose over Calgary (5 games)

Minnesota over Colorado (7 games)

Anaheim over Dallas (6 games)

FOR the bruins fan: who couldnt even win one fucking games against habs this year, Chara is the worst person to be a captain. I put in 5 but seriously I'm pretty sure bruins are not event gonna score 1 goal in this series. GO HABS GO!

now i am an avs fan but i think the sharks will win the cup. i know the red wings won the pres trophy, how many times does that make for them? how many times have they won the cup after winning the pres trophy? all in all i think the sharks have the best built team for playoof hocky, and i say joe thorton playoff mvp
 
the wild dominated colorado last night but just couldn't score until the third period. it was a good hockey game. i think its shaping up to be a good series...
 
ya the whitney fight was like 5 feet away from me it was fuckin awesome. then roberts refused to leave the ice he wanted to fight this one guy soooo fucking bad dude. the ref was like shoving him off the ice but he was just holding the boards trying not to leave. roberts will fight that dude next game no doubt.
 
I think devils lost 7 of 8 games against rangers this year, so even if they got more points, rangers are gonna win
 
Flamers are so about to go down... they got lucky in game 1...

The sharks' constant barraging of other teams with shot count will finally break through, and they will come out on top.

I'm a pretty big Bruins fan but I know that the Habs are going to win in 4 games. They B's have lost to Montreal the last 11 games. Without Bergeron, the Bruins can't do much. The Habs scored two goals within the first three minutes. They are definitely a better team.
 
last night was a joke. if the bruins play good they will beat the canadiens. there whoel team is a walking joke
 
well im getting ready to leave to head down to pittsburgh again for the game tonight gotta start drinking like 4 hours early you know.
 
Man can't wait to see ovie play philly tonight. Also the flamers are absolutely terrible they've been out shot like what 80-30 in the first two games. Kipper is holding them in big time.
 
Hossa has made his career chocking balls in the playoffs. Crosby has been alright he's trying to make things happen and getting close to some finishes. Ottawa is still keeping tight tabs on him letting Malkin shine so all and all their still alright imo.

I think they've lost to two number 8 seeds in the first round in the past 3 seasons.

and once to the 7th seed in the second round...Nashville will be a cake walk, but I dont think they would go all the way, San Jose is the team to beat this year
