they have 3 rails and a couple of rollers. the rails are mail box 8 feet long, up flat rail 7 feet, and flat bar 8 feet long.
 
Now set up on the Shelter park is: 20 foot skinny down box at top. than 20 foot flat rail. than a hand rail. after that a small little down rail. than the other really small rails listed above. sitting at the bottom of the hill getting ready to be put up any day is the flat-down rail, other handrail, and other 20 foot flat rail.

Who has stuff set up right now? Grand? I forgot how great grand geneva is man, damn man they got ride ons, and massive jumps. Plus their rails are all so professionally made.
 
lol who said grand was good? anyone , NOPE!!! grand is prlly the worst ski hill in the us! and im proud of it hahhaa
 
lol i dont say its good, most shity park ever!!!! and it is alota funn its rocks, haha and i dont think its great, its good , just not a fan of it, the jump was pretty nice last year, just didnt like the fact u had to bomb the hole hill to clear it, im not a fan of the rails, no need to get mad about ha its southern wisconsin
 
1. alpine is doing pritty shitty this year

2. all the kids that ride there have there own lil click and half of them think they are ba's

and 3.its not nearly what ne of you guys talk it up to be....

but grand is a laid back hill that we all ride as friends and make fun with what we got and for the record i ski there every day and dont pay a dime so cant beat that but for real alpine should step it up for being what u guys say it is..............................................
 
Jea Alpine!! hopefully i will be out there this sunday to kick off my skiing season lets hope they can get a jump or two up soon
 
how is it doing shitty already this year? they have atleast already set shit up. how dont you like their rail at alpine igor? you like grands frew foot rails that are ride ons? cause those are sooooo much better than alpines
 
i just dont like your rails, get mad lol, and our rails suck, plus one of our rails is longer then any of yours , you guys are so deffensive over alpine get over it , its not the best ski hill , did i say grand was better then alpine? no i didnt
 
hmm maybee cause they only opened a week ago? last year they opened a few days before thanksgiving. they hardly have any snow at alpine but still took the time to put in a few rails
 
Alpine doesnt have click it has the local crew of kids just like grand, when i went to grand i felt like i was hated too every gives you dirty looks and stuff too, its a universal thing until they see you ride i think.
 
ppl only hate on newbs, and ya i had snowboarders talk shit to me at alpine all the time but w.e, thats y grand is nice we like run that place and get away with everything
 
igor you've been to alpine once, and i was signing up at a comp at grand n some kids started laughing at me that were running it. That's really cool that you run Grand Geneva. We don't run Alpine Bruce does. It seems like you guys are the bad asses, running grand geneva and all. I dont wanna get in all this I just think Alpine is good for around here n lives up to how we talk about it.
 
lol ive been there at least 10 times, i went three times last year for ur info, how u know they were laughing? and im pretty sure the kids that were holding it wernt laughing at u because they are alll about peace love and dont hate what soever, and if im correct your hatting right now, i didnt say it was bad i said i dont like the rails, and for a sponsored park ud have all brand new rails already, we are from "badd asses" have the local skiers are in middle school lol so if u think there badass idk what to tell you hahaha for the record every time im at alpine a snowboard talks shit to me, and i have wittnesses to prove it go to anyones local hill someone will hate on u so get over it
 
i don't want there crap at wilmot either. they start bashing the park at wilmot that I will have spent ton's of time building I might have to hurt someone.
 
yeah everyone at alpine is dicks your right. Thats why tons of kids left grand and came to alpine. Peace and love, dang grand is hip. I'm sick of you guys saying the kids from alpine are dicks the locals are nice n wont give good skiers shit. So the kids u may be talking about are prolly some illinois kooks who talk shit to everyone, everywhere around here has them too. Plus kids were laughing at me whoever was doing registration at the comp last year.
 
haha i didnt say locals, i said snowboarder!!! maybe they werent local but i still got called a faggot ass skier when i droped in first run, and oh well someone laughed at u get over it, im not paying 500 dollers for a pass when im going to colorado nxt year i could care less about your park, i ski for fun, tons of kids left grand o well those kids can do like 360s lol besides trevor , i nvr said u guys were dicks, i like you kyle nater caden troy and them, i just dont like some people so get over it

i like both id rather go to alpine but to far, and to much mula and to many shit talkers but i dont care about shit talkers its just funny i think im giong there soon anyways with the school i hope they have a jump.
 
they dont bother me its just sum snowboarders, problem wouldnt be solved, cause id prlly get poped back along witha ticket and kicked out for the day, its kewl tthey usally cant snowboard anyways all they do is 50/50 and leave divits hahha
 
grand may not have park, but everyone who rides there is legit, they just have fun. I used to ski there my whole life, not im in UT, but i love going back and skiing. can't wait for xmas break in a week.
 
well today they took everything out of the park on shelter except the one hand rail to redue it all. didnt get to far on that cause they spent most of the day working on mohawk. at the top the have the 20-25 foot flat rail as a down. than a jump with a decent lip but the landing is pretty mellow and needs to tender loving care. after that is the other handrail. flat box. and at the bottom is a like 15 foot jump thats pretty good for the start of the year. at the way bottom they made a hip/spine thing. thats the park as of today
 
sounds fun i think me and shawn are comimng wensday, aidan and one of the gluths is gunna get us lift tikcets u think they will have more set up? im sure they will
 
hey ns. i am going to be at alpine valley tomorrow. i will be with my bro and two friends, one is a skier, the other is a boarder. But pm or just post if your gonna be up there tomorrow i should be wearing blue pants an either a white or black jacket. and i am riding anthems. peace out
 
I have no life. and im nice so here's a park update.

looking from the top of the mountain:

left: 15 foot jump, up flt rail(almost like a canon)

middle: down flat bar, urban handrail, butter box, 10 foot jump, pole jam canon, a slightly thinner butter box, box whale tale, 20 foot jump.

Right: baby park, rails and boxes.

Shelter: top to bottom. flat-down rail, jump, down-flat-down rail, up rail.
Mohawk: fat down box. combo jump thing with the pole jam on the left and a jump on the right. next to that is the 20 foot flat rail set as a mellow down with side entry. another down box after that. whale tale box. and the jump at the bottom. then of course all the amazing little rails in the kiddy park. the made a new wall ride that has wood surface. its actually really fun even though its wood. the very top is metal which is nice. and they have a wood log rail thats like 10 feet that they just made for the snowboarder rail jam. those two things are suppose to go up tomarrow morning into the actual park. you can see the wallride on this park crew site thinghttp://alpinevalleyparkcrew.blogspot.com/

hows the set up right now? i was thinking about coming down today but i decided wilmot last second. any new updates on the park?
 
Shelter was the place to be on Sat: 15 footer, 25 footer, 40 footer (actually decent jumps, you just need to bomb it for the 40) flat down rail, box, down-flat-down rail, up rail
It was really sick.
 
yeah alpine has gottten a little bit better in the past like two weeks. on mohawk they but the log rail they got from the rail jam they had before. and also at the top is the other hand rail. than by the flatdownflat box is the long skinny box set up urban style and also a lip pushed back to gap straight on. its kinda confusing but still pretty fun
