The other one mysteriously disappeared, must have been an act of God.

Anyway, things are looking sick, and it was dumping today. Here's to a killer season.

You better believe lasagna noodles will be sessioned.

The park is looking decent, the pow is still there if you know where to look, and Greywolf is completely bombed out for the time being.

Merry Christmas, fellow rippers.

Alright, Im currently sick and havent been up in the past few days but here is what I have to say so far.

The Park: Actually pretty damn good for as early as it is in the season. The park is actually nice and flowy with some decent sized kickers. There are alot more jibs than previous years too which is nice.

The Pipe: Not done yet that I know of but should be done soon. At least it looks like it should be done before February.

The powder: Very awesome. Really good snow right now and it has been snowing a bunch all week.

New Chair 2: BAD ASS is all I have to say.

New Chair 1: Also badass

Pipe construction is looking really good.

The park is getting changed up a little, and today they pushed the platform for the New Years rail jam. They have the Cbox, a flat bar, and the dfd rail over there, so I would assume those will be the jibs.

The crowds started to hit today, but if you know where to go there are amazing amounts of powder and no lines.

And if you are visiting and want to be shown around, PM me. And if you have already asked, find me because I always love meeting other NSers.

I really don't know. I couldn't see anything when I dropped in, so I'll let you know as soon as I see something.

Deepest, lightest powder of my life. Holy Balls. Tomorrow it is ON.

The park is soooo sick right now. Everybody go shred the gnar on the jibs!! If I were reading this I would definitely stay in the park all day, there's nowhere else that's good.

fuck milwaukee. when i come home im makin some phone calls. sounds like the west sides the place to be right now. we got about eight inches of super heavey snow here. u could actually feel every individual flake hit ur jacket. shit was wack...

And the bins of free XL Ozone outerwear.

I ended up in the park, because there weren't lines there. Which is a bit sad, but better than standing around with 50 billion tourists and Canyoneers who won't even talk about how ridiculous it is back there.

haha, canyoneers

here's a taste of the snow back there, but don't tell anyone ;)

Today was rediculous. That is the most powder I believe I have ever skied on Big Mountain. Its snowing a little bit now too and hopefully more tonight :) Face shots all day long. Park riding at night.

The park: It was badass today. They reshaped the second booter and it is way more poppier. Actually gives you some nice hangtime which is not typical of Big Mountain jumps so hopefully they keep it like that and build more like it. Alot of jibs to be had and jibbed upon. A really nice down box jib with Dave 450'ing onto with glee. Dustin was also steezing it out behind him. Careful though the landing is a bit flat lol, I ate shit a couple times. A smooth rail is setup too at the end of that or you can head to the mini jib park which is a nice addition. Problems with the park today is that it got a shit load of use and not enough maintenance so the takeoffs eventually got beat and the landings got hard. I imagine they will fix it tonight though.

Powder: Redonkeylous. Face shots. 11" overnight and it was seriously waste deep in spots.

People: I have never seen that many people on the mountain in my entire skiing life. The new chairlifts actually handeled people pretty well. Yes there were long lines, but I rode the singles line and it seriously wasnt that bad at all. All of the other chairs seemed to be pretty empty for the most part. There were so many Canadians there, they are all cool though. Good to

I can't wait for tomorrow.

Yesterday I think was better for powder, first couple turns off flower point was neck deep. But today was crazy for how busy it was. Chair 1 was dumb. But it eased up on the lift lines after lunch time, but it was kind of rediculous. I've never seen anything like that before here. Like T-bar 2 line up backed up the cat-track. Best time I've ever been down here for sure though.

^Yeah, yesterday seemed a little bit lighter. That was probably the lightest snow i've skiied. Today was still super sick though.

so far this year is probably the most snow ive skied at big mtn......so sick, you cant get much better then when you think you need a snorkel to ski.

i'm so freakin jealous, the first year i leave it gets dumped on, and here at moonlight we're not gettin much snow. oh well, glad to hear everyone is havin a sick time up there.

Rail jam went down tonight.

Alex (270 onto the dfd rail) and Travis Adams were seen destroying everything in their paths, as well as Doug Nangle (Crown on the flatbar, ridiculous spinning disasters on the dfd) reducing the features to quivering piles of metal.

Somehow, I ended up winning Pro Ski, but they gave me the foam check for Pro Snowboard. So I guess I snowboard now.

Thanks for a great night of shredding, guys.

I kind of wanted to try out the rail jam but ended up being too tired and called it a day. See you guys around February I guess.

The Park was good today, landings were soft.

Jibs were flowy and they added more rails to the main park line at the bottom.

Halfpipe looks like its almost done, it looks like someone has been working on shaping it some.

Powder was great today, kind of heavy though.

The wall ride opened today, and hopefully the super pipe will open tomorrow. They were cutting it all afternoon!

Superpipe is now open.

The walls are the best I've seen them at Big Mountain, and a full 18ft+.

And Inspo is going off as well.

If you haven't seen Travis Adam's cross slides, you need to check them out.

There was some sick pow today...in secret places.

When I was riding up Chair 3 in the morning, there was a lady standing at the top of the big park (no jumps, just rollers now) and she told her friend that this whole area looks "superpipey." It was kinda funny.

I keep checking the big mtn site and it seems to be snowing every night thats crazy, My family is gonna be there at the end of Januray so hopefully it keeps up. Gotta love big mountain pow pow.

we were just talking about that today. i haven't been taking many breaks from skiing because there's so much snow and i am kind of sick so it's not helping my health out.

I'm trying to sell my car and get my new one running, and my dad is getting really tired of me putting it off because of the snow.

And like I told Shane, I (try to) get sick every time I ski.

i hope we are getting lots of snow there.. im down in steamboat colorado at the moment and the mountain just got 25 inches of fresh, but i must say that the skiing still didnt even come close how good it was at big around the 28ish of december. i think its safe to say that i had some the best runs of my life then.

how is the skiing at moonlight right now blakey boy? surely a lot of those god damn rocks are covered up by now right?

Night skiing today was off the hizouse. Double handplant threes, fronts off cat tracks, sitting on wallrides, race-fence jibbing, moondrops galore.

Thanks Alex, Trav and Willie, that was so much fun.
