what are you guys going to do in the off season to keep alive. i imagine that there isnt much of a ski demand here in boulder during the summer. what you guys should do is find the coldest day of the summer and get all sorts of lights and ice rink snow and have a night rail jam in your parking lot this summer. i know that i would come for sure and i bet tons of others would too. but that doesnt really solve the off season question that i asked.

you know what would be cool is if they bought a warehouse or something and set it up like those indoor places in japan. that would give them something to do in the off season. im dreaming though. but ya, i hope its not seasonal. i need a place to hang out and talk about skiing in the summer. hehe, be a jibij rat.

We can't hold a rail jam in our parking lot for a few reasons. It's shared by other businesses, it's flat, and that's too much liability. But the shop will stay open all year. We will be selling trampolines in the summer, including fly-nets.

is there no way that a rail jam could happen. if its too much i understand but couldnt you talk to the other business owners and then make a ramp for the run in. then you could make us all sign release forms. but if it wont work i totally understand.

Even if the other business owner's said yes, it's an issue with the city of Boulder. If I got them to ok it, it would cost me a ton to pay the insurance. So it's pretty unlikely.

what about running some sort of trampoline facitlity for those of us that cant afford to buy our own or have no place to put it? you could offer some sort of coaching, maybe, so people can get help with their tricks and progress more. or try and set something up with cats... i dunno, just a thought

That's a good idea. I might try to do a group night at cats, and have the team riders coach.

this is off topic, but if you trials bike (like me) cats has a 'bike night' every wednesday night from 8:30 to 10:30ish. it only costs the $5 drop in fee. but a trip to cats would be sick.

ive always wanted to trials bike. that looks so fun. but wahts cats? you should get a tramp and a big harness rigged up so people can do that stuff.

he can't due to cost and liability. you have to have a shit load of insurance coverage to do that kind of stuff.

cats is (colorado athletic training school) its a gymnastics type gym where they have a rock wall and a couple tramps and stuff.
