Off duty cops

soo me and my two friends mount up to go to prom, its a drive through the notch which is lots of open roads and fast turns, me and on ekid had matching a6's and the other kid had a porche. So were driving up pretty fast and passing lots of cars. We go through this one string where its a long straight away and we pass like 9 cars one of which aparently was an off duty cop from the town i live in but not the town we were in. We get to prom and he tracks us down pissed off about us driving like assholes he says. He claims he got us on a radar gun at 120 but he was in his wifes car so i think he was bullshitting. My question is does he have any authority to give me a ticket or anything?
 
120..in his wifes car. hahahaha

but seriously. the speed might be right cus cops, especially the old fahion ones are trained to do speed judgement with thier eyeballs, but idk about the ticket. 120 in a ______ speed zone?
 
on the spot im not sure wether or not he got my plate number but he knows who i am and the car, he didnt do anything the night of and its 120 mph in a 55 zone he claims which seems pretty close
 
something kind of like this happened to me, but it was a retired cop. basically what he did was spun around and followed my friend (who was driving my truck) who returned the truck to our high school. The retired cop then blocked my friend in and called the local cops who did all the ticketing/bullshitting/fucking-kids-over stuff. so yea you'll probably get a ticket cuz they are gonna take the word of an off-duty cop rather than highschool kids.
 
im hoping becasue he didnt follow up that night that nothings going to happen an if it does i think i have a good chance in court
 
i think its bullshit.

im speaking from personal experience...when your in a small town where the whole police department wants you in jail its not hard for them to jack up your mph to almost DOUBLE what you were going.
