I can stick a 540 but i cant land on my feet whenever i try and cork anything. on a trampoline i can land a 1080 perfectly but i cant do anything off axis. flips i can do but anything else i'm a fish out of water.
^^ think hockey! like your shoulder checking some grunt into the boards...drop those shoulders and hit em hard...
its gonna feel fucked up in the air...like your lost in space...but if you set the spin and drop your shoulder it should work out...hang on...stay low...kneees bent and be patient...you wont see much of the landing so trust yo self

Work with different techniques, like the dropping off the shoulder, grabbing or even the way I do it which is nose buttering off the jump. (Word of advice, the last suggestion I gave is only done with corked 3's and it is a very weird sensation.)
