i really don't mind octograds or doubles. it was something new to try out. i like that there is no arm flailing in the air though a double grab. you gotta be perfectly balanced right form the start and commit.
 
you kinda just took everyones favortie clips and put them in a thread...no one can argue with that...no one wants to i dont think.

shut up noob. Octos are sick just as any other trick done with style. gagnier's 12 octo in the us open is amazing (for example)
 
alrite so i agree that style beats ridiculous spinning - but charles ganginer's octograb still is pretty sick and stylish even tho he may be pulling a big spin in it, as for travis heed he also has some style of his own sure its the whole overdone gangstar stuff and some of the filler in his video looks pretty gay, but when he hist the small dfd rail at less tan 1mph tats some pretty steezy shit
 
if everyone stopped doing tricks that a few people hate on then the sport would become boring and bland

big spins and double grabs have just as much reason to be a part of skiing as slow spins and effortless style

do what you like and don't worry about what other people are doing
 
Theed < every other skier i see on NS. All he does is rails, ok he's way steeze, but thats ALL he does. Fuck heed, until he does some new shit he's way old news.
