Congrats to everyone who made it to the final! Again, 48 hours to post a video in the thread- let's try to have a cleaner round than the Semi and get three videos in there!

For the final, Happygaper, Coopertrooper and Beam_er will each post their best line. The line may consist of rails, jumps, backcountry, whatever. Be creative! The line will be from top to bottom- as many features as you like. It must be a single line, so no cutting in the videos. Good luck!

You must post by 8PM (EST), 7PM (Central), 6PM (Mountain), 5PM (Pacific).
 
Hype!! but about the no cutting videos, some people use free fraps which only records for like 20 seconds so...
 
A rule is a rule. If you don't post on time, you're out. Trust me- things would be nuts if I let you through, completely unfair to those who posted on time.
 
Because at the very begininning of all this you fucked like 10 kids over by not notifying anyone that the contest had started and that we had 24 hours to get a video in. The judging has been wack and you keep boning kids out of spots.

In the 'October/November Competition Round 1' Thread I posted "OK the entries have now been cut off. You have 24 HOURS to post your video or you lose by elimination!"

They don't post in time, they're out. If you think by inforcing that rule I am boning kids then that's fine.
 
Yeah that's my bad, I normally do post cutting off the videos. But to be honest the result would be the same anyway.
 
Except it wouldn't be. Excluding the votes for Beamer that were submitted before my video went up, it's 8 votes to 5, and I'm in the lead...

I think what's important to remember here is that it's all in the name of fun. Did it ruin your shredsauce/life experience that you didn't win a competition with no prizes?

I guess it is the internet, so thing should always be super cereal.
 
Well if I would have posted that the videos were cut off exactly 48 hours after the Semi started, your video wouldn't have been posted yet so you would have lost anyway.
 
The deadline was 5 AM. I thought it was 5 PM because I saw it on friday after 5 PM. if I had known it was at 5 AM I would have put in a lot more of an effort to get it in before then. This comp should be about who is the best shredsauce player, not who can record on 48 hour turn-arounds. I have a life outside of newschoolers.
 
Anywhere you look at any competitions, there are deadlines. If you go to a real comp you can't just roll up afterwards and be like "check it, I'm better than all of you so just let me do a run and win". I understand that you didn't understand the deadline but you can't go around saying that deadlines are shit, they are there to instill order in anything that should have order. A competition is one of those things.
 
except in real comps, all the competitors know the competition deadline. If he had done what he has done for the finals saying 6AM eastern 5AM central as a legitimate list, I wouldn't have been confused, or if he made sure both parties confirmed they knew the deadline. I probably would have gotten my submission in on time, however I misread the deadline, and was 12 hours off. I got it in before that, then won fair and square off of that.
 
Yeah I started actually saying the times to make things easier- Sorry that didn't start last round if that would've helped you out! Although it's still not much of an excuse, I get where you're coming from. Just look at this from my perspective and the perspective of your competitor, would've been unfair to let you through.
 
I also have a life outside of ns, school then drivers ed until 5, and inbetween 2-3 hours of homework every day. This does not leave much time for friends, games, etc.. Yes you posted a better run, but had 12+ hours of time, so if I had the extra time I would have been able to post a better run. Yes there was no announcement about a cut off but it only takes 2 minutes to check the forums in the cult to see what's going on, and.if you have a phone with a data plan or wifi ns is accessible all day, so the least you could.have done is.asked.for extension, and I'm sure you would have gotten it because I would have liked one aswell /endrant
 
I need screen recording software besides the free fraps. It needs to be windows program too. If you can pm me with some software it would really help
 
Though really guys give bchaps a break. I mean I could see how its irratating and all but I mean there will be plenty of comepetitions in the future. And also bchaps probably has a life and cant do everything too make this a fully organized competition. So i bet you the next competition will be more offical and better organized.
 
Tree 60 is being a fucking tryhard! You got out in an online computer game competition, so what? Who cares? Bchaps was the first to run a comp like this so obviously there would be kinks to work out.just get that cock out of your mouth and if you don't like the rules, good fuck off then, just go and make your own contest with the rest of your butt buddys.
 
I'm trying to be reasonable. I'm not mad a B-chaps, And im not using homophobic slurs against him. I know I'm not going straight to the final, but losing on a technicality like that along with roddy, I think there is another option for this comp.
 
I would gladly give you 12 more hours right now. that would be more than fair, but I don't think Bchaps will allow it.

My run consists of 7 hits down the rail line

Switch lip 2 in 4 out,

Switch 2 in (other way) pretz 4

Cork 10

BowArrow 2 out

Lip 2 pretz switch up

Front switch up pretz K-Fed

Blind surface 2 out to steeze snap/shuffle

I tried to make this as realistic as possible whilst being as technical as I could withough it beeing arcady

I agree myn sucked but I didnt have mutch time either because im failing a couple grades. (not trying to make excuses.) Though I agree that Beam_er killed it and he should take the title! Beam_er
