Octagon or Rectangle????

Soooooo, im upgrading from my wicked crappy walmart round tramp, and ive been doin a lot of research... im thinkin either a rectangle or an octagon/12 sided???? and YES i searchbarred it...

not to be confused with a dodecahedron which is a 12-faced polyhedron
and i know nothing about trampolines....
