Ocean and Pow conditions

Does anyone know of a place to live that is close to the ocean and has powder conditions? I'm a big saltwater fisherman so being close to the ocean would be dope and powder conditions for skiing obviously. Does anyone know of a place like this? It doesn't have to have both but equidistant from both maybe? Preferably on the West coast. thanks

Southern California, you have the beach and Mt. Baldy and Bear.
Not amazing mountains but then you have Mammoth relatively closeish as well.

Definitely not the PNW. All we have are lakes and rain. You will have to go somewhere else to find your fabled "powder snow" and saltwater.

:'( ok

@WarmButtBass or whatever the hell your name is lol,

how far is Mammoth from SoCal?

thanks for all answers so far btw

Probably harder to find a place on the west coast that doesn't have ocean and pow. Although I managed to find that place...

if you lived in the heart of LA I'd say Mammoth was about 5 hours away. Baldy and Big Bear are significantly closer like baldy is an hour away and big bear is an hour and a half but again they're not the greatest. Norhtern California like the bay area, has tahoe like 3-4 hours away I'm pretty sure.

no one said anything about the bearing sea there are many good spots to fish without being out in the middle of deadliest catch. u said pow and salt water fishing. alaska has one of the greatest fisheries in the world and gobs of pow. just tryin to help bro. but getting an honest answer in nsg surely warrants a sarcastic response doesnt it?

for the EC there's maine, if you live midcoast your like 30 min away from skiing (lost valley), 1.5 hours away from dope skiing (sugarloaf, SR), and like 30 min away from a bunch of beaches (higgins, reid, etc), and theres inlets/rivers everywhere for fishing

vancouver is only about 2 hours from whistler and you have grouse, seymour and cypress right next to the city.
